Catarina’s POV
After the twins left, Denise came and sat beside my bed.
“Are you ok Catarina?” She asked me.
“Yes, but is it normal for my wolf to go insane with them here?” I asked her.
“Oh yes. They know their mate and they have a strong need to be with them. I’m afraid to tell you this, but she is going to bug you to see them if you go too long without them around. It’s part of the mate bond.”
I let out an enormous sigh. I wasn’t ready for this. It was very overwhelming. I closed my eyes and tried to not think about them, but I couldn’t.
“Why can’t I stop thinking about them? Is that part of the mate bond?” I asked her.
“Yes, and it will only get worse until you mark them and you complete the mating process.”
“Excused me the what?” I asked her, making sure I heard her right.
