Alpha Riley turned to Taylor along with Dana and probed,” Why did you not come to me or my Luna about all of this before? Can I please have the recorder and any additional evidence you have of wrongdoing? Furthermore, is there anything else we should know?”

Taylor and Dana looked at each other as if contemplating his request. Everyone could tell they were deliberating over his request through a private mindlink with each other.

Alpha Riley watched the girls ponder over his request and became upset. “Girls! I don’t understand where this hesitation is coming from, but you can trust me!”

Taylor, after weighing their options, decided to speak up first. “With all due respect, Alpha Riley four years ago, Dana and I came to you. We informed you of our concerns. You told Luna Rachel to take care of it, and she failed to do so. Octavia convinced Luna Rachel it was just adjustment growing pains with blending together a new family and everything was fine! Every year since…. Twice a year actually, Dana and I, along with our parents, have met with Luna Rachel to discuss our concerns. They were always swept under the rug. So, no, we don’t trust our Alpha and Luna to do right by Bianca. Too many adults turned a blind eye to our friend’s pain.”

Dana grabbed hold of Taylor’s hand in solidarity and proceeded. “No, we don’t trust you or Luna Rachel enough to give up our friends' only insurance policy that proves every last misdeed done to her. Bianca gave us clear instructions to carry out in the event of her death or if she ever went missing. So, we have already contacted the Elder Council ourselves and will be providing our proof to them. Furthermore, to answer your question, I would question Principal Thomas on why he would cheat on his mate with Octavia in order to remain quiet about Bianca’s home life.”

Gamma Dora had been quietly observing the peculiar snowstorm that was now calming down and the drama that was unfolding. However, with this latest revelation she was livid and unable to remain calm. “What the hell? That poor child! Jean-Claude, I am pissed! You better fix this s**t before I do! Our son is going to lose his mind when he wakes up to learn of all this ugliness involving his mate.”

Gamma Dora and Luna Rachel were not big fans of each other. Everyone knew they only tolerated each other for the sake of their mates and children.

Jean-Claude, understanding his wife’s anger, simply said,” Calm down, Love! We will assist our son and our new daughter through this difficult time together but with calm heads. Calm down, My Love!” while rubbing her back to soothe her as they stood beside the hospital bed that held their son and his young mate.

“Don’t tell me to calm down! Just fix it!” shouted Dora, unwilling to be pacified by her mate.

Alpha Riley quickly spoke up with deep regret,” I am deeply sorry, everyone! I am especially sorry to Dana, Taylor and Bianca! I failed these three young ladies! I humbly apologize! I passed off a responsibility …no a duty of mine to my Luna and son. They failed miserably. I take full responsibility for their shortcomings. Furthermore, I intend to earn back your trust and respect. No member of my pack should ever feel like coming to me is useless. Or that I or any member of my family isn’t doing their job properly.”

Alpha Riley was a good and fair leader. He has always prided himself on the fact he was an approachable, honest and compassionate ruler. He didn’t rule by fear but with integrity.

Luna Rachel knew she had made a huge mistake and failed her pack as well as brought shame to her husband. Promptly added,” I am truly sorry! I foolishly trusted Octavia! She has been my friend since childhood! I just took her word and I never really looked into the matter. I never imagined her being able to hurt a fly, let alone a child. I promise to do better!” as she started to weep.

Dana, undeterred by her tears, quickly said,” We are still not giving up the evidence, but we accept your apologies. We look forward to seeing your future actions match your words. However, any real apologies need to go to Bianca. She has been the one getting her ass kicked for the last four years, not us.”

Alpha Riley, sadden by the girls’ words and knowing that he has to get ahead of this mess before the Elder Council arrive and Gamma Ryland wakes up. He replied,” We understand! I personally will make sure the whole Alpha Family apologizes to her!” As Luna Rachel fidgeted beside her mate, unable to handle the scrutiny.

At that moment, a knock on the door was heard and in walked Bianca’s father looking overwhelmed. “Excuse me, Alpha Riley for the interruption! I want to have a private conversation with you regarding all these misunderstandings. My poor wife, Octavia, was just arrested. When she needs to be by our precious daughter Bellamy’s side during this horrible ordeal.”

“See, that’s the bullshit! I am talking about! Never once has he inquired about Bianca’s wellbeing. It’s like he couldn't care less about her, now!” shouted a highly irate Dana.

“Calm down, Dana!” requested both her parents in a comforting tone, standing beside Bianca’s bedside.

“However, Dana is right! You used to adore Bianca! What the hell happened to you, Noah! We all used to be friends! I don’t even know the man standing in front of me right now! How could you let that woman abuse your child!” yelled Daphne.

“I don’t know where you are getting these lies from, but Octavia has never abused Bianca. Discipline her, YES! Bianca never accepted Octavia and Bellamy. She has become very troublesome. She is always doing something mean and spiteful to them.” declared Mr. Noah in outrage.

“Lies! All lies! You need to take those poisonous rose-color glasses off. She has you wearing and see the real reality. Which is, Octavia and Bellamy are the true villains here. You have allowed them to abuse your damn daughter.” responded Lisa in a fuming tone.

“Well, if I was wondering where these young ladies got their way with words or strong personalities. I don’t believe I have to look any further.” commented Alpha Riley, looking around the room at everyone with a smirk.

“You don’t even know the half of it!” replied Dana’s father, laughing.

“I have to live with both of them!” responded Taylor’s father, chuckling, amused by the remark.
