TRYING TO MAKE LEMONADE OUT OF LEMONS

“Let’s have this conversation in my office!” replied Alpha Riley promptly, after hearing Ryland’s wolf Sa’vage, among the growls. He couldn’t risk Sa’vage awaking fully and going on a murderous rampage.

“I think relocating this conversation is a great idea! I am going to go back to the packhouse and get everything together for when they wake up! She can have a late birthday supper with everyone. We can see her shift for the first time. Than they can go up to their room and rest together peacefully.” announced Luna Rachel to everyone as she quickly exited the room.

Dana and Taylor’s parents left to go assist Luna Rachel. They wanted to make sure all the decor from their party was brought over to the packhouse.

Alpha Riley and Gamma Jean-Claude took Mr. Noah with them back to the packhouse after Dr. Clark and Dr. Bishop showed up. The two fresh new doctors gave everyone a clean bill of health. In addition, both new doctors assured everyone that they would be awakening in the next hour. Alpha Riley and Gamma Jean-Claude were extremely happy to have been able to borrow them from neighboring packs so quickly.

Gamma Dora, Dana and Taylor stayed in the hospital room getting to know each other better. They waited for the couple to awaken. However, it was now 9:30 p.m. at night.

Everyone else went to secure the pack from the threat of war.

While, Alpha Riley, his son Martin, Beta Kevin, Jordan and Gamma Jean-Claude, along with Mr. Noah were all sitting silently in the Alpha’s office.

Mr. Noah was the first one to speak. “I throw myself at your mercy, Alpha Riley! I have not spent the money wisely with regard to my late mate’s life insurance policy due to grief! I will volunteer to attend individual and family counseling. I honestly do love both of my daughters! I want the best for both of them! And Gamma Ryland honestly isn’t what is best for my child!” professed Mr. Noah.

“If you try to prevent my son from being with his fate mate! He will kill you without hesitation or remorse! Is that really the hill you want to die on figuratively and literally?” countered Gamma Jean-Claude fervently.

“He is a cruel and violent man! He wouldn’t make a good mate for any she-wolve! Please, Alpha Riley, don’t condemn my precious daughter to a life of misery!” voiced Mr. Noah strongly.

“You mean Bianca the daughter you refused to go search for when she was missing? I asked you myself to search with us! I didn’t want them girls… Dana and Taylor to be right again! Now my Gamma is going to wake up soon on a damn war path!” yelled Martin vehemently.

“This isn’t about being right or wrong. This is about getting down to the truth in all this mess and quickly correcting all these wrongs!” declared Alpha Riley, trying to calmly mediate the situation.

“Your right!” replied Martin intensely.

“Bianca belongs with her mate! Furthermore, I have total faith and confidence in the fact he will treat her very well! He will be a little over-protective, but that is understandable!” divulged Alpha Riley fervently.

“So, you admit to misusing those funds given to you to care for Bianca by her mother? How much of the two million dollars is left? I know for a fact Bianca does odd jobs around the pack to earn money. That’s how she got her motorcycle!” probed Jean-Claude heatedly.

“I only have $45,000 left! Bianca kept doing mean stuff to Octavia and Bellamy! They demanded gifts to make up for the harsh treatment!” revealed Mr. Noah glumly and looking totally ashamed.

“You spent two million dollars in four f*****g years on Bellamy and her mother! Ryland is going to lose his s**t! I am not stopping him from beating your ass!” shouted Beta Jordan, shaking his head humorlessly. He wanted no part in this s**t show.

“Please help me, Alpha Riley! I don’t want any trouble with Gamma Ryland, but I don’t approve of his matebond with my daughter! I just don’t want him with Bianca!” pleaded Mr. Noah joylessly.

“I want a complete list of everything purchased with that money! Don’t you dare leave anything out! I will do an audit and a inventory check! Bianca will go with Gamma Ryland, period! Their matebond isn’t up for further discussion! Furthermore, I want you to sign everything over to Gamma Ryland. So, he can sell it to recoup the money back for Bianca. In addition, I want you to sign this agreement. In it you are signing away all legal claims to your minor daughter Bianca Giselle Bara to Gamma Ryland Leplay. That should stop him from murdering you for now as well as you agreeing to stay away from Bianca!” declared Alpha Riley firmly.

“I will sign it if all charges are dropped on my Octavia! In addition, Octavia, Bellamy and I must be allowed to leave the pack unharmed!” countered Mr. Noah sadly.

“Sure! I can banish you, Octavia and Bellamy!” answered Alpha Riley quickly and seriously.

“No! If you banish us, no other pack will allow us to join their pack! That’s a death sentence!” voiced Mr. Noah in frustration.

“The way I see it! Either way, it’s a damn death sentence! If you stay here, Gamma Ryland is definitely going to kill you! And if you leave, no pack would dare, take in our banished ex- members. So, that only leaves the option to go rogue in the woods or go live with the humans!” conveyed Martin, laughing at the poor distraught omega.

“I would take my family, even with no money, and go! I would try to live a good life with the humans, if it was me!” expressed Beta Kevin solemnly.

“Me, too!” responded his son Jordan earnestly.

“Dropping all the charges in exchange for you signing away your rights is not going to happen! My son will not be happy if they are not punished for their mistreatment of his mate!” countered Gamma Jean-Claude solemnly.
