Ryland P.O.V.

2:35 p.m.

Knock! Knock!

Martin shouted as Ryland opened his door." Hey, Buddy! Are you ready to go downstairs and greet my parents? They should be pulling up soon! So, we can get this Welcome Home Party started!"

Ryland replied,"Yes, I am!"

Beta Jordan announced, walking up to the two men in the third floor hallway of the packhouse." Good! I got the strippers ready at Club Opium, too! Did you get rid of Chrissy, yet?"

Martin answered, grinning hard at his friends,"No, man! Chrissy is cool! She is coming with us! So, she and I can pick out a girl together to tag team! Chrissy is a freak! She likes girls, too!"

Ryland responded," Well, damn man! It’s like that!"

A laughing Martin said," What can I say, I love me a nasty girl!"

Jordan announced with anxiety all in his voice," Our parents are already outside, damn! So is Chrissy knowing your parents don’t like her. I just got a bad feeling Martin and Ryland. Stay ready! Like some s**t about to go down!"

Ryland countered," Now you sound like my mother and something about the weather not being right. Whatever that means!"

The three friends give each other a look and go stand with everyone else.

Future Alpha Martin, Future Beta Jordan and future Gamma Ryland are outside standing in front of the pack house waiting for Alpha Riley to park his BMW with Luna Rachel in it. Beta Kevin and Molly and daughter Emily are present. Gamma Jean-Claude and his mate Dora, along with their daughter Tessa, are standing outside with Chrissy hugging and kissing all over Martin.

It’s seriously snowing, and the temperature has most certainly dropped. Gamma Dora had already informed her mate and son that this weather change seemed magical and to be on alert. They agreed to be mindful!

3rd P.O.V.

Alpha Riley exits his vehicle and walks over to the passenger side door to let out his Luna.

Luna Rachel stated," Thank you, Darling! Always the gentleman that I can count on!"

Before Alpha Riley can respond back, he gets a mindlink from a panicked Taylor.

Alpha Riley shouted in a furious and irritated tone," f**k ! f**k! f**k! f**k!"

Alpha Riley quickly turns to the crowd.

Alpha Riley, looked directly at Chrissy and demanded," Chrissy, where is your brother?"

Chrissy looked down at the ground and said, “I don’t know Alpha Riley! He promised to be here by now for the Welcome Celebration for Gamma Ryland!”

Everyone can hear her heart beating faster and faster. They can all smell her fear. Furthermore, they noticed Alpha Riley's temper rising!

Alpha Riley asked," Son, did you go over to little Bianca Bara’s house like I requested earlier to make sure everything was okay?"

Martin answered back quickly, irritated that his father was bringing that lying ass girl up again." No, Father! I didn’t! Chrissy spoke to him and told me everything was okay! So….."

Before Martin could finish his next sentence, his father had decked him. Hit him so hard that he saw stars and was on the ground.

Alpha Riley shouted at his son for not handling his duties properly." This is your pack, your responsibility! You were too busy f*****g that slut to check on your people! I swear if anyone is dead right now! You won’t see Alphahood till your 100 years old or your mother will have another baby! So, I can give the damn title to them. Ladies, go into the house, now! Men follow me! We have a situation!"

Martin replied in a panic voice." Dad, I’m sorry! Brandon is a good guy! I thought it had to be a prank!" Chrissy looked panicked and ready to flee at any moment.

"I don't care if you thought it was an April Fool's Joke! It was still your job to investigate and dish out a punishment if it was indeed a prank. Your failure to act may have cost lives or at best caused a young girl not to be able to give her precious virginity to her fate mate, young man. Our pack members trust us and depend on us to come to their aid in their times of need. " countered Alpha Riley, furious with his son's poor judgment.

As the men take off running in their human form, Alpha Riley, ignores his son's persistent apologies. Explains to everyone what he knows so far about the situation they are about to walk into as the snow continues to fall. All the women go into the packhouse to have dinner and wait for the men to return.

Jordan, shaking his head in disbelief, decides to question Martin in a mindlink: "Man, why didn’t you link me earlier? I would have checked it out for you! I'm your Beta! That's what I am here for!"

Martin replied in a defeated tone," I didn’t think about it! Damn it! I f****d up!" Martin still hates it when he disappoints his father and to fail openly in front of people.

A loud growl next to them grabs their attention as it shakes the surrounding trees.

Martin promptly probed," What the hell, man?"

Ryland asked them," Do you smell that? Sa’vage is going crazy right now!"

Just as Ryland spoke those words, they see the two panicked girls standing in front of Bianca’s house. Yelling” Hurry up! Alpha Riley there is still no movement in the house!”

Alpha Riley voiced with authority," Ryland, if Taylor or Dana is your mate…. I am still going to need you to keep your head in the game till this situation is resolved. Do you understand me?"

Ryland quickly replied," Yes, Alpha! I understand perfectly! Plus, Bianca is a friend! There will be hell to pay if anyone has hurt my little Bird!"
