Hazel's pov.
The Place was surprisingly huge. I almost couldn’t keep up with Ava as she gave me a tour. The palace was built in a modern way but it also had traces of traditional touch. Weapons from hundreds of years ago were kept as treasures, the statues of all of the past Kings were also lined up in a room. Ava showed me to the gallery next and after we were done looking at paintings, she took me to the library.
It was a bit surprising how guards were stationed everywhere. I had to be introduced so many times before they let me pass since they weren’t familiar with me. The security of the palace still seemed a bit too extreme to me.
