HAZEL’S POV
Kieran gave me one look before he left with his beta. The Queen and the others followed and I felt someone come behind me.
I glanced to my side to see Larissa. She had a pleased smirk hanging on her lips “You know what it means for Kieran to be gone right? If only you hadn’t gone into the King’s library, the King wouldn’t have want to hunt you down and Kieran wouldn’t have made a deal that might cost his life”
“Cost his life?” I frowned and looked at her “What do you mean by that?”
“Oh, I guess you don’t know” she chuckled “The westerners are the scariest. They fight dirty using poisons so most countries avoids clashing with them as they are always unpredictable but they suddenly targeted us and only a handful of soldiers along with Kieran would be sent there”
