Raiden’s pov.
I left the dungeon wondering what I was thinking telling her that. Why couldn’t I just tell her the truth about Kieran? Why did I feel my chest tighten when she cried? It was strange and suddenly, I felt like I was doing something wrong.
I saw Thomas rushing towards me and I knew what I had been expecting was finally happening.
“What is it, Thomas?”
“T-the Silver Moon pack… I-I think they are heading here. The spy said it was as if they were coming for war”
It is war indeed.
“Just them?” I asked Thomas and he gave me a confused look before nodding slowly with an invisible question mark above his head asking if there should be someone else.
My eyes narrowed… If he wasn’t with them then…
I sighed, now a bit worried as I wondered if I had done the right thing.
