SIX YEARS LATER
As soon as the stopwatch on my table began to beep loudly, I stood from the tree trunk I was sitting on and walked towards the middle of the training ground. While I waited for Commander Kai to round up with his tests, I proceeded to toss on my commander costume. I was already halfway dressed wearing black overalls and a black pair of boots, so I just put on the leather, armour-like covering which bore the Lichen pack seal on it and began to slip in all the buckles.
I had just put my hair in a high ponytail when Commander Kai walked in my direction.
"Commander Soraya," he acknowledged.
"Commander Kai," I returned the greeting.
He looked around first before he leaned forward and began to whisper to me.
