We talked about nonsense topics on the phone, we’ve done it all the time but now it feels different. Before, we can last talking for how many hours. Now he seems uninterested and bored to death. With the way he talks, it’s like he would rather sleep than talk to me.
I sighed at that thought.
“Do you want to sleep now?” I asked really disappointed. I still want to hear his voice but what choice do I have?
“Is it okay? I really had a long day today.” He answered. My shoulders slumped, I thought he will at least refuse but he didn’t.
“Yeah sure, goodnight babe. I love you.” I whispered wholeheartedly. I wanted him to feel how much I still love him.
“Love you too…” after he said those words, I immediately dropped the call. I can’t control my sniffs now and I don’t want him to hear.
