Kurt Collins is nothing short of a phenomenon—a true Superstar with an astounding following that reaches into the tens of millions across all media platforms. His multifaceted talents seem endless; he can effortlessly switch from one domain to another, captivating audiences as an actor, enthralling them with his singing, amazing them with his dancing skills, showcasing his prowess on various musical instruments, and even dazzling fans with his culinary skills. It's no wonder that he has been awarded the title of the most handsome face in the industry for three consecutive years—a remarkable feat that speaks volumes about his charm and charisma. But as Olivia’s thoughts swirl around in her mind, she can’t help but wonder how such a perfect man could ever think to propose to her. Before she has a chance to voice her thoughts, the tranquility of the moment is gently interrupted by the sound of small footsteps, perfectly echoing in the surrounding silence. The noise is enough to draw their attention, both Olivia and Kurt looking in the direction from where the steps emerged. "Mom, is it 12 already?" a little boy asks, his voice laced with sleep as he rubs his tired eyes, trying to shake off the remnants of slumber. Kurt, warm and gentle, walks over to the boy and enfolds him in his arms, lifting him with the kind of care that only a loving father could provide. "It's not yet 12, baby," he reassures him, his voice soothing. "You need to sleep some more. Daddy will wake you up when it’s midnight, okay?" he says, cradling the boy with tenderness. The little boy stares up at him inquisitively, "Are you my daddy?" he asks, his words innocent yet potent. "Yes, I'm yo—" Kurt begins to respond, his answer almost complete, but Olivia, fraught with urgency, interjects before he can finish his thought. "No, baby," she said quickly, a sense of panic in her tone. Kurt, sensing Olivia's distress, chooses to redirect the conversation. "Do you have any wishes this Christmas?" he asks the child, shifting gears in the dialogue. The boy's response is heartfelt. "I want to see my daddy! Mommy said that we can’t meet him because he is so busy," he admits, his eyes reflecting both hope and disappointment. “Ohhh, then you need to sleep. I will talk to Santa and tell him your wish,” Kurt says with a smile, eager to bring comfort to the young boy. After those tender words, the boy nods in understanding, and Kurt gently lays him back down on his bed, standing near him, patiently waiting for him to drift off to sleep. Once the boy is comfortably nestled in, Olivia turns to Kurt, a mixture of concern and confusion on her face. "Why did you tell him that?" she asks, a hint of sharpness in her tone. Kurt looks back at her, his expression thoughtful yet resolute. “That's what I was about to ask you, Olivia. Why did you tell him that I’m not his father? I’ve done my research already. I didn’t want grandfather to find out, so I didn’t ask the staff or check the CCTV at the hotel. I relied solely on my memory to track you down and eventually discovered the truth about our son. I have no doubt that I am his father. There hasn't been any indication of you being in a relationship these past few years, and the timing aligns perfectly with when I accidentally ended up in your suite. The very fact that you hesitated to deny it earlier makes me believe that you may not have even known who the father was,” he explains, a warm smile tugging at the corners of his lips, emphasizing his sincerity and determination. Olivia listens intently, her heart racing as she processes everything he’s just said. She finally responds, revealing a truth she had kept buried for too long. “What you said is true,” she admits, her voice softening. “I didn't have any relationships at all, not just during the past few years there has never been anyone else. That night, it was my first and last,” she confesses, her eyes meeting Kurt's, seeking understanding and acceptance as the weight of their shared past hangs palpably in the air between them. Kurt was taken aback by the words that had just reached his ears. Overwhelmed by a wave of guilt and remorse, he quickly begins to implore Olivia for forgiveness for his actions. The weight of his mistakes felt heavy on his shoulders, and he recognized the need to address the consequences they might have caused. Olivia, however, was quick to intervene. With a gentle smile and kind heart, she reassured him, saying, “It wasn’t entirely your fault, so there’s really no need for an apology.” Hearing these words was like a breath of fresh air for Kurt; a smile crept across his face, one that radiated pure happiness. Grateful for her understanding, he turned around to gather his men, announcing that they could all head home to spend quality time with their families. His men expressed their gratitude before heading off, their faces lighting up at the prospect of being reunited with loved ones. After the room had quieted and the laughter of his men faded into the distance, Olivia turned her attention back to Kurt. “Thank you for visiting,” she began. “You really don’t need to worry about us. You’re still too young and shouldn’t feel tied down. I’m truly grateful that you came to find our son. You can visit him any time, but please remember, it must be in private. If any of your fans were to discover him, it could jeopardize your career.” She paused for a moment, the gravity of her words sinking in, but before she could continue, the weight of what she had to say became too much, and her sentence trailed off uncertainly. Kurt, however, was having none of it. He interjected confidently, “What do you mean? They are the only ones leaving! I’m staying here for the holidays.” With that declaration, he made himself comfortable, settling down on the couch as if he had every right to be there. Olivia couldn’t believe her ears. “Whaaat?” she exclaimed, her voice laced with confusion. She felt a mix of surprise and uncertainty as she considered what to do next. However, her thoughts quickly dissipated when she glanced over at Kurt, who had already fallen into a deep slumber just moments after announcing his plans to stay. The sight of him sleeping soundly on the couch was both amusing and endearing. As she looked at him, a soft chuckle escaped her lips. “So you definitely got it from your dad, huh?” she murmured quietly, watching Kurt drift off to dreamland. It was a moment filled with warmth and a sense of unanticipated connection, and for Olivia, it was a reminder of the bond that drew them together in ways she never expected.
