The music came on louder than Eve was used to through the speakers and she pushed off following the other skaters. It was darker than she was used to with flashing spotlights that lit them up and she could feel costume she had been assigned itching under her arms. They were doing a dress rehearsal for the show in two days and it was their first time running through the entire show with no breaks in full costume and all of the lighting and music, as it would be on the night.
