Yas could feel the crowd buzzing around the ice rink and he felt the adrenaline start to pulse through his body in response to them and he couldn’t wait to get back onto the ice to perform. Finally stepping onto the ice with the lights dimmed so that the audience wouldn’t notice them moving into his starting positions and Yas could distantly hear the commentator announcing the show. The intro to the song began and Yas could almost fool himself that he could feel the ice beneath him vibrating. The flashing blue lights started to level up and the different skaters in the formation were lit up: Yas’s attention being caught by Eve illuminated in the blue light from where she stood.
