The night was going pretty well Rebecca was right. With all that was going on that dinner was an absolute God sent and Nick was surprisingly on his best behavior. He had just came back from the bathroom
"Hey sorry I took so long. Carl wanted to talk to me about something" he said taking his seat
"No it's alright" I said as I cut a piece of the steak
"So how's the food?" He asked
"It's good" I answered
"Good. Good. I'm glad you like it" he said smiling
"So Sophie. There's something I've been wanting to tell you for a while now"
"Go ahead and say it" I said taking another bite of the steak
"I want to apologize to you"
"Didn't you already do that?" I asked as I drank some of my orange juice in the wine glass
"I want to get back together" he said before I did a spit take
