Devil's wrath

When they got home, everyone still in silence. No one dared to talk, just the devil and the demon enjoying the thick tension inside the car, while the human still in rage for what happened at the pub.

Until they finally reached Chloe's house. Yohan parked the car inside the garage, turning off the engine and they sat still in silence. The demon turned to Yohan before glancing quickly at the human behind.

"Should I go?" Agma asked meaningfully.

"Of course, what else are we gonna do here." Yohan replied, unfastening her seatbelt.

"Stay." Chloe said, her voice was calm and authoritative.

Yohan was stopped by that one word and she looked at Chloe through the reflection of the rearview mirror, seeing the girl with her infamous rest b***h face makes her shrugged her shoulders and nodded at Agma to dismiss her.

"You'll be fine here?" Agma asked.

"Yeah." Yohan replied.

"Okay then, just call us if you need—."

"What do you think I will do with your friend?" Chloe finally turned to them.

"Just in case, you seems wanted to kill someone tonight." Agma joked but Yohan was the only one who laugh with that. "Fine fine, I'll leave the two of you." She sighed and tapped Yohan's shoulder before exiting the car and went inside.

When Agma was already gone from Chloe's sight, she turned in front of her, staring at Yohan's back, while the latter looking at her confusedly through the mirror.

"Why did you do that?" She asked.

"What?" Yohan asked back, still confused.

"You hit Asmo, and for what?"

Yohan smiled secretly, she really thought that Chloe was asking about the women she flirted in the bar. Yohan sighed audibly and turned her body to face the woman at the backseat.

"He's trying to touch your ass, so it's my job to beat him."

Chloe scoffed, not because she's annoyed to what Yohan did to Asmo, it is because, she really wanted to ask about the women in the bar, she clearly saw under the dim and moving light that one woman who leaned closer to Yohan but because the girl's back was facing her, she didn't see if that b***h kissed Yohan or not.

"He's not, and if he is, then let him—."

"I'm not letting him or some asshole to touch you." Yohan said to cut off Chloe.

"And why not?"

"You're off limits." Yohan replied and sat straight, she faced in front again while tapping the steering wheel. "It's my job to protect you."

"It's not your job to prevent me for having a boyfriend."

"Boyfriend?" Yohan asked, the tone of her voice was a bit higher than her usual voice. "What makes you think that touching your ass will get you a boyfriend?"

"And what makes you think I don't?"

"You know what? This conversation is pointless, you're drunk so you should go to sleep—."

"From now on, you're not allowed to go with me in my schedule, in my dates and in everything. Don't tell me that I'm not allowed to command you because I'm literally still your boss and not my dad!" Chloe said in one breath and pushed the door open, then she slammed it hard with intention of telling Yohan that she's not having it anymore, the way how Yohan intervene in her life and keep leading her onto something that she didn't know if Yohan likes her back or she's just an i***t taking her job seriously that she wasn't aware that her boss already like her and f*****g jealous from what she saw at the bar.

Yohan was too stunned to speak, she was just staring at the door with open mouth. "What the hell?" She mumbled to herself.

"Hell is where you came from and where we live." Agma said, popping out from the shotgun seat and Jess at the backseat, laughing her ass out.

"I mean, what the f**k is wrong with her?" Yohan asked, not even got surprised after her friends suddenly appeared inside the car. "And for f**k's sake, never use your power just like that, what if Chloe was just hiding at the door and she sees what you did." She added, shaking her head.

"Nah, she's already upstairs when we teleported here." Jess said to assure the Devil. "Anyway, how's the party?"

"Yohan had a great night, I'm telling you." Agma said while grinning.

"Have you seen how Chloe snapped out? How can you say that I had a great night?"

"Three women tried to hit on you."

"And? I'm not even interested at them." Yohan sneered.

"That's surprising." Jess said and stared at Yohan suspiciously. "This is the first time you told us that you're not interested in women." There was an emphasis in the last word she said.

"That's what I've been thinking all this time." Agma snapped her fingers with a click sound using her tongue. "You never rejected a woman before, and witnessing how you declined those women, amazed me for the first time."

"I don't know what you guys are talking abo—."

"Do you like Chloe?"

Yohan whipped her head at Jess, her eyes were wide open, as if she was taken aback with that question, but when she noticed how Jess stared at her with something in her eyes, she quickly recomposed herself.

"No." She then replied firmly.

"Ok." Jess shrugged but not convinced. "So what now? She's mad at you and because of what?"

"I hit Asmodeus, was that even justifiable?" Yohan asked ludicrously. She's really confused why Chloe needed to get mad for that reason, wherein all she wanted was to save her from getting harassed. But the truth is, her blood boiled when she saw how Asmodeus touch Chloe for a reason she don't know as well.

"Wait, I happened to saw her at the bar glaring at you while you were talking with those women." Agma said.

"And?" Yohan pressed.

"You think she's jealous?" Jess asked, Yohan suddenly burst out laughing. "What?"

"She's jealous? That girl didn't even like a bit of me, why would she gets jealous?"

"I was just asking, but since she gets mad at you because you hit the guy who tried to harrased her was something that I can't comprehend, so concluding that she's jealous is more believable than her reason." Jess said and actually, she have a point, but Yohan doesn't want to admit it. She's rather to stick with Chloe getting mad for hitting the guy than being jealous to the women she talked to.

"She maybe not and yet she maybe is. We can't tell, she's unreadable." Agma said, lifting her shoulder's up. "We should get inside, Molly might look for us." She said as she get off the car, the witch and the devil soon followed her.

Just like what Chloe wanted to happen, Yohan stopped going with her in her photoshoot and in every events that she needed to attend. It's either Agma or Jess who will drive for her, while Yohan stayed in the house, but little did Chloe know. Yohan was just around, watching her secretly.

Oh how many times Yohan wanted to pop out from somewhere else and beat every guy who keeps talking to her, asking her in a date, or even just those guy who were just staring at Chloe from the corner. Yohan wanted to kill all of them, but Jess preventing her from doing so.

In every spot she would hide, Jess could feel her, in every place they would go, Jess could see her following them and it frustrates Yohan, to the extent that even Asmodeus and Agma could feel her frustration around the vicinity.

"You need to stop, Yohan." Jess suddenly appeared from nowhere, leaning at the tree where Yohan decided to hide herself while watching Chloe's photoshoot for a brand clothes she was working with. They are in the not so dense forest, having a good view of the falls, then Chloe wearing a two piece bikini, too much revealing if you'll ask Yohan.

She has the urge to run towards the girl and cover her with the blanket, but since Chloe told her firmly that she doesn't want Yohan in the set, Yohan settled in watching her from afar and deal with her urges and frustrations.

"How can you let her wear those bullcrap?" Yohan said with annoyance in her voice.

"She's a model, if her company wants her to wear those piece of cloth, then she have to." Jess replied calmly.

"That's pure bullshit! Can't you see those perverts looking at her like she's a prey?!"

"I can see them, but they won't dare to talk to her, I'm telling you."

Yohan shook her head vigorously, as if she's not convinced. She then looked back to Chloe's spot, wherein she's sitting on top of the big rock and now trying to climb down so they could change the set up of the pictorial, but unfortunately, Chloe slipped while trying to reach for the guy's hand who are trying to help her to get down.

Yohan was too quick to move but Jess was more faster, she grabbed Yohan's arm and pulled her back, they even both stumbled back, some of the staff looked at their spot but Jess quickly regain herself and heaved up from the ground.

"Don't come out." She hardly whispered before running to Chloe. "Are you okay?" Jess asked.

"She got bruised in her elbow." One of the make up artists said.

"I got her." Jess said as she took Chloe from one guy who luckily caught the brunette.

"I'll bring her to the tent." The guy insist and he walks to the tent, carrying Chloe, who's wincing in pain after she accidentally fell and hit her elbow at the pointed rock underneath the big one.

Jess glanced quickly at Yohan's spot when she felt the black aura coming from that certain Devil.

"Damn it." She hissed as she run to the guy. "Please, I'll take it from here." Jess said as she tried to take Chloe for the second time but the guy shook his head in refusal. "I said—."

"Put me down." Chloe said to cut off Jess.

"But you hurt your—."

"Elbow, not my feet." Chloe scoffed.

The guy just shrugged his shoulders and put down Chloe on the ground gently. Then Chloe stomped her way to the tent with a deep scowl in her face. Once she got inside the tent, every eyes on her worriedly.

"I want everyone out." She said calmly yet there's an authority in her voice. Everyone did, they stepped out and Jess decided to stay. "Didn't I say out?"

"Yeah? But I'll stay, I need to treat your bruise." Jess shrugged and walked towards Chloe, carrying the medical kit that the Aid gave to her before she step out of the tent.

"Whatever." Chloe sneered and rolled her eyes, but she let her bodyguard to do what she want because to be honest, she's really in pain. Jess then dragged one chair and put it in front of Chloe then she sat down, she rummage through the box to get one buds with an ointment and she wiped it gently to Chloe's bruise.

Chloe was just watching Jess treating her bruised, thinking that if only Yohan was with her, she wouldn't get hurt herself because Yohan could be sometimes annoying, but she never let Chloe get hurt physically, but emotionally? Well...

There's a comforting silence between Jess and Chloe, when suddenly, they heard loud horrifying screams outside the tent. Jess quickly pushed everything aside and she stood quickly to cover Chloe.

"Don't move and stay here." She said before she walked slowly towards the entrance, she then pop her head out, only to see horrific scene and she gasped, her eyes immediately look for the certain person but she couldn't see Yohan at all in her spot where Jess left her.

"What's going on?!" Chloe asked panicking.

"Stay there!" Jess yelled without looking back at the brunette, which is wrong because she didn't see how Chloe stood up and walked towards her, and she also see the guy earlier, covered with his own blood on top of the rock where she slipped. He's dead but his eyes were still open, as if he died horribly.

"Oh my god!" Chloe gasped, covering her mouth with her trembling lips while staring at the dead body.

Jess noticed her friend at the top of the falls, in her true form, tail and horns are visible and she's in rage. She heaved a deep breath and pulled Chloe back inside the tent while all the staffs are running back and forth, as if they just witnessed a murder but the murderer was unidentified.
