I'm a Devil

No one moved a nerve between the three, Agma staring at Ivy with her wide eyes, Yohan's back facing Ivy and her face stoic, and the latter was just staring astoundingly at Agma in return.

Yohan is escalating the situation, it's as if, she's thinking how to escape the sudden situation where Ivy saw how Agma sucked all the fire, as if its her food. How can she forget that aside from Chloe, who's in the bathroom, and Charlene who was taken out by Jess, there's another girl with them and it is Ivy Acker.

"I-Ivy.." Agma mumbled, her lips quivering in nervousness, afraid that the girl might've spread to other girls what she have witnessed.

"Did y-you just killed the fire just by—."

"No." Yohan interrupt but Ivy continued her words.

"..blowing the fire?"

"What?" Agma asked ludicrously.

"Nevermind, it seems that I have hangover, do you have any Advil?" Ivy said as she pressed her temples, which made Yohan and Agma to exchange glances before releasing a simultaneous sighs.

"Ah yes, wait I'll get you one." Agma quickly ran to the cupboard and reached the box where I hide the medicines.

"Thanks." Ivy said and was about to walk away but she stopped and her gaze shifted at the burnt kitchen and her brows furrowed, but she shook her head and continue her way.

"That was close." Yohan said.

"Sorry." Agma apologized but Yohan shook her head.

"It's my fault, I asked you to eat the fire." Yohan assured her friend and turn her heels. "Since we won't be able to use the kitchen now, I'll go out for take outs."

"Who did it anyway?" Agma asked.

"Why don't you ask that flirty witch." Yohan scoffed before she walk out of the kitchen and walk upstairs to her room to get her car keys.

"Is breakfast ready?" Chloe, who just came out of her room and fresh from the bath, asked.

"No, we'll have take outs for this morning." Yohan said, on her way to her room.

"Why?"

"You'll find out if you see the kitchen." The Devil said a bit snarky, she still pissed off that Jess managed to burn the entire kitchen just because she's having an eye contact with Charlene, as if they were a teenagers who just discovered what is admiration.

Yohan was about to push the door open when she noticed Chloe's clothes and she spin around to see the woman in whole since she didn't looked at her. The feline eyes woman is wearing a checkered jersey cardigan, leaving it open, revealing the button down bra paired with puddle jeans and a soccer shoes.

"Where are you going?" Yohan asked, her left brow raising questioningly.

"To my parents."

"What are you going to do there?"

"Why do ask a lot? Is it wrong to visit my parents?" Chloe sneered, irritation is visible in her voice.

"Because I need to know every plan of yours." Yohan sneered. "I'll drive you there, wait for me." She added before she continue entering her room and didn't wait for Chloe to protest.

The brunette left with her mouth in agape, couldn't believe that her driver could say those words nonchalantly, as if she's her girlfriend or what. Wherein she's just her bodyguard/driver and nothing more.

"She might probably think that I like her after what I had said last night." Chloe thought with a huffed of a rugged sigh.

When Yohan stepped out from her room, she make her way downstairs without even sparing Chloe a single glance and she head straight to the backyard where Jess and Charlotte's at.

"Let's go, Jess. We are going to Smith's!"

"What about the take out foods?!" Jess asked as she tear her gaze from Charlotte slowly and she turns to Yohan.

"Let Agma do that, I need you to come with me."

"Oh uhm.." Jess flicked her tongue and she looked back to Charlotte. "See you later, I guess?"

"Do you really have to go with her?" Charlotte asked, a bit disappointed that they had to separate early as expected, which is she already decided to spend her day off in Chloe's house to know Jess better.

"Yeah, I need to do something important." Jess said and when she glanced at Yohan, she immediately stood up upon seeing the Devil getting impatient. "I have to go, it'll be quick."

"Okay, take care." Charlotte waved her hand at Jess cutely before the latter skipping her way to Yohan with her heart-shaped lips stretching widely.

"Let's go." Jess beams and clung onto Yohan's arm.

"Stop it, you know it is dangerous for you to be attached to anyone." Yohan said as they both walked back inside.

Jess frowns and her shoulders slumped down, because she knows that Yohan is right, it's dangerous for a witch like her to be attached to a normal human like Charlotte, because first, she's a Devil's henchmen, second, she's a pure blooded witch and a heiress of Witch family. So it's really dangerous for both of them to have a relationship, either of them will have to suffer if Jess's family finds out about Charlotte.

And as a concern friend, Yohan needs to remind Jess about that, because she hates the idea that Jess will get hurt later.

"Let's not just talk about it." Jess said to dropped the topic and she took the car key from Yohan's hand.

"I'm just reminding you, Jess."

"I know and thank you for that." The witch replied and offer her friend a small smile before she open the door at the back for Chloe, who's waiting outside with her face in deep scowl.

"After you." Yohan said as she held her hand to let Chloe get inside first, but the latter turn to face the Devil and crossed her arms against her chest.

"Why do you have to go with me?" Chloe asked and she took a glance at the driver's side. "And you even brought Jess, I thought you're the one who's going to drive for me?"

"I need Jess."

"Aren't you supposed to drive because you are the driver and Jess is my bodyguard?!"

"Oh, okay. Then I'll drive, are you okay with that?" Yohan asked sarcastically and she forcedly shoved Chloe inside the car who didn't had the chance to complain when Yohan slammed the door and she walked around to get to the driver's side and she open the door and pushed Jess lightly to the other side. "I will drive."

"Why?" Jess asked but still moved to passenger's seat.

"Because I'm her driver." Yohan said with a bit of annoyance in her voice that she didn't tried to hide, she glare at the woman behind through the rearview mirror and she was greeted with an eye roll.

"I didn't even asked you to drive for me!" Chloe scoffed as she turn to the window, crossing both of her legs and arms before huffing a sharp breath through her nose.

The drive to Smith's mansion was too silent to bear, but it is favour to Jess, as she was thinking about Charlene and to Yohan's words. She's thinking if she should obey the rules of her family or follow what her heart says. It's hard for her to choose, especially if this the first time she had ever felt the kind of unfamiliar feeling, where her heart will thud rapidly every time she'll stare at Charlene's eyes.

Jess released a deep lungful sigh as she lean her head at the car window, and Yohan noticed it.

"You're gonna hurt yourself." Yohan said which caused Chloe to looked at her because she thought that her driver was talking to her. She was about to open her mouth when Jess beaten her to it.

"I know, you don't have to keep reminding me about that." Jess sighs devastatedly and she brought her head on the other side and she leaned her head on Yohan's shoulder. "But I can't stop this feeling."

Yohan side glanced her friend in mock surprised before chuckling. "In just one night? You have already felt that deep?"

"Actually, it's been a while, every time I'll see that girl, it feels like there is something moving here." Jess said while pointing at her chest. "You know what I mean?"

Yohan couldn't agree that she can feel what Jess could feel, because if Jess's feeling can put them both in danger, what more Yohan. The feelings she has for Chloe isn't acceptable in any way because she's a daughter of Satan and the brunette's soul is all she needs to get her full power's back as the second most powerful Devil. She would not consider her dignity just for an unfamiliar feeling that she feels towards Chloe, not even a chance, because Chloe will die anyway and Yohan will have her soul.

"You just need to avoid thinking about her then gradually you'll realized that you were just having infatuation because it's your first time." Yohan said, earning a sarcastic scoff from the brunette at the backseat, Jess and Yohan peek at Chloe through the mirror.

"You can't tell that to a person like it's the easiest thing to do and it shows that you haven't felt in love before." Chloe said with full of mocking in her voice, it's as if, learning that Yohan haven't fell romantically to other girls made her feel the relief that she shouldn't feel.

"I don't and I don't have time for that ridiculous things." Yohan said nonchalantly.

"Love isn't ridiculous, that is the most overwhelming feeling you could feel in you entire life if you found the one." The brunette said dreamingly.

"That's just bullshit, you can feel those kind of feelings if you have all you want, like powers, fame, money and everything."

"Those are the bullshits, I have everything you said, but I never felt the happiness nor the overwhelming feelings that you're saying." Chloe retaliates, which caused Yohan a bit ticked off and she snort a sarcastic laugh before pulling the car inside the driveway of the Smith's.

"Then it's your problem, because for me and Jess, we don't need those people who will make us feel those feelings." Yohan growled before she hopped out of the car and open the door on Chloe's side, leaving Jess in disbelief as she witnessed how Chloe and Yohan had bantering while she's the one who has the problem. "We're here."

"You don't need people like me because you are such a narcissistic person who thinks that she's better than anyone else!" Chloe said, her voice a bit higher and she pushed the Devil on the side before she storms inside the house.

"As I should." Yohan mumbles while closing the door.

"Ok, what was that?" Jess asked ludicrously.

"Nothing." Yohan dismissed and she looked up to the house. "You can start looking for that stone and if you can steal it, take the chance so I can get Chloe's soul and leave this place."

"Ok." Jess replied and was about to go at the back of the house but she halt and looked back at Yohan. "If you finish your business here, are you going home?"

Yohan tear her gaze away from the house to Jess and she nods her head. "Of course, what else am I supposed to do here?"

"Well, I was thinking that, maybe we should at least stay for another month, you know? Have some fun—."

"No." Yohan cut her off firmly as she walked inside the house and left Jess outside dumbfounded.

"What a demon!" Jess hissed.

"I'm a Devil." Yohan said from the main door, glaring at Jess, who laugh awkwardly before running at the back of the mansion to start her work.

When Yohan got inside the house, she's surprised to see Nathalie in the living room, sitting in the middle of the long couch with her hands and legs crossed and there's a grin on her lips.

"As expected." Nathalie said as she uncrossed her legs. "You wouldn't let Chloe to go alone."

"It's my job to protect her."

"Her soul, you're only protecting her soul." Nathalie corrected her with a sharp scoff. "Are you also here to try your luck looking for that stone?"

"No, I'm here because I'm her driver." Yohan said monotonously and she turn her heels, she was ready to go back outside but she froze when she felt some force coming from the woman walking downstairs, Yohan snapped her head and her eyes looking for the thing that makes her body weakened but it seems that the woman doesn't have it in her hands, instead, it's inside her body, because when Yohan tried to look deeper and her eyes became darker for a second, she saw a glowing aura around the woman, it's the same feeling she could feel every time Chloe will visit her parent's house every week as she was told by her father.

Yohan reached for something to hold on and she's lucky that she's still beside the single couch, because if it wasn't for it, she would've knocked on her knees already.

Nathalie saw that and the grin on her lips grew wider, thinking that she finally found the Devil's weakness.

"We're going home." Chloe said as she continue her way down and stopped in front of Yohan who's on the verge of snapping out and show her real face, so she could regain her strength but it's too dangerous, until Jess appeared on the door then she ran to her friend.

"I found it, but it's hidden in a vault that has magic on it." Jess whispered, but her eyebrows furrows when Yohan didn't respond as she was concentrating. Jess turn to Chloe and she gasped. "Wow."

"Yeah, wow." Nathalie said meaningfully while staring at Yohan amusedly.

"Take her away from me." Yohan growled, gripping the edge of the couch tightly.

Jess quickly complied and she grab Chloe's hand and dragged her out of the house, when the two got away from Yohan, she sucked for an air and clutched her chest.

"I couldn't believe that I would witness you like that." Nathalie said amusingly.

"Didn't I told you that if you want to defeat me, you have to find that s**t before I could?" Yohan retorts when she regained her strength.

"Now that I've seen you like that, it gives me more will to steal that."

Yohan chuckled dryly as she stood straight and turn her head to Nathalie, letting the girl to see her true form as a Devil, her face became demonic with two pointed horns above her head, her teeth became more longer and sharper, her ears bigger and her eyes are nothing but black and what more scary is her face that became the real face of a devil. Nathalie would be surprised if she hadn't see it before, but since she had already seen it, she stood in her spot without any emotions, as if Yohan still has the same angelic face.

"You will have one chance to use that and kill me." Yohan said with her demonic voice,hoarse and deep. "Because I'll eat your soul right away if I get it first."

"Then let's see who will get it first." Nathalie said cockily, offering her hand for a handshake, Yohan looked down to it and she laughed.

"You wouldn't gonna like if I hold your hand while I'm in this form." Yohan said before her face returned to her human face. "I can get your soul with just one touch, Nathalie."

Nathalie's eyes widened and she immediately took back her hand as she gulped thickly. "That was close."

"Be thankful that I still consider your life." Yohan said before she starts walking towards the main door and stopped to looked over her shoulder at the old guy who's at the top of the stairs. "But not for too long." She said meaningfully for the both of them before she continue her way out.

"Nath, let's talk." Mr. Smith said when he made sure that Yohan is already far away from their earshot.

"Are you going to help me?" Nathalie asked.

"I want you to do something for me first." Collin said and he turned around to go back to his office. Nathalie smirked upon hearing it while she's staring at the main door where Yohan vanished from her sight.

"You're going to die, Yohan Ceyx." She whispered to herself.
