Asmodeus

Tonight, Chloe is happy, but she don't think anyone can tell. It's under the surface and mixed with some anxiety. She's not used to the combination, it's truly odd. Happy takes her up for admitting her true feelings, though not directly but at least she gave Yohan a hint, while anxious brings her down as she waits in distressed.

What could be Yohan's reactions after that confession? Will she stick in her passive or will she say that she likes her too and it's normal for her to feel jealous. There's a sudden scenario played inside Chloe's head while thinking those things.

"I'm so stupid!" Chloe groaned as she walked away from the window and ruffled her own hair. She couldn't wait for too long for Yohan's arrival, her anxiety eating her all up and the different scenarios inside her head makes her feel giddy yet irritated at the same time.

A sound of car arriving made her froze for a moment, she listens carefully till Yohan parked the car inside the garage, Chloe heaved a deep breath and exhales exasperatedly. She let her body plop down in her bead while staring at the ceiling, thinking how she would face Yohan, but there's another question lingering inside her head.

Where did Yohan came from? She thought.

She could hear every sound of footsteps downstairs since there's no one inside aside from them. The front door creaked open, the footsteps coming upstairs and she know that Yohan is looking for her and she was right when she heard her name.

"Chloe?" Yohan called cautiously.

Chloe take another deep breath before she jumped off of the bed and run to the door. She opened it a bit faster and harder than her real purposed. She's even panting wherein she ran more or less ten steps only from her bed to the door.

"What?" She asked nonchalantly but deep inside her, her heart beating rapidly upon seeing Yohan's face.

"Oh uh have you eaten dinner?" Yohan asked back almost stammering.

"Not yet, no one in this house aside you and me."

"You should've cook for yourself then." Yohan said and suddenly, she remembered what happened earlier, the way how Chloe said that she's irritated upon seeing her flirting with Nathalie, which is not true by the way, but to the fact that she's the reason why Chloe felt upset earlier, her stomach churns in a good way and since it's her first time to feel that kind of feelings, she didn't know how to react or to handle it.

Chloe raised her left eyebrow intimidatingly and crossed her arms, she stepped out of her room and looked up to Yohan. "You want me to cook?"

"Who would you expect then? Me? Cooking hates me as much as I hate it."

"You made me breakfast before."

"It was Jess."

There's a disappointment that suddenly hit Chloe but she chose to ignore it. To be honest, since the day Yohan arrived in their house and introduce herself as her driver, this will be, if not totally, the first time they could have a casual conversation aside from earlier while they are both sitting in the hood of Yohan's car, but Yohan ruined it by telling her boss to cook for herself and admitting that she was not the one who cooked the food for her.

"Fine, whatever." Chloe dismissed and turn her heels to go back inside her room, she's not totally hungry anyway.

"Where are you going?" Yohan grabbed her hand.

There was something unexplainable feelinyg against Yohan's touch in Chloe's hand. It's as if she's sucking all of her strength, her eyes became blurry and her head spins which caused her to almost stumble, her knees wobbles but Yohan was too fast to catch her between her arms and her strength was almost gone, her surroundings started to dark but she's trying to stay awake.

"Hey, are you okay?" Yohan asked worriedly, tapping Chloe's face lightly.

Chloe forced herself to look at Yohan, but her heart skipped a beat as she saw a face of a devil instead of a cold yet angelic face. It was horrific and frightening. She shuddered, and with all the strength has left in her body, she pushed Yohan on her chest, so hard that they both knocked over on the floor when Yohan unintentionally released her.

"Chloe—."

"No! Don't touch me!" Chloe yelled horrified while crawling back.

"What the hell is happening to you?!" Yohan yelled frustratedly, still trying to approach the girl but Chloe kept swatting her arms. "Chloe!"

"Don't—." Chloe abruptly stopped, she blinked her eyes rapidly, her eyebrows furrowed. "What the hell." She mumbled so low.

"Yeah what the hell!"

"Your f-face, it's different a while ago."

"What?"

"I saw it! I can't be wrong!" Chloe insisted, her voice were trembling along with her body while keep crawling back.

"Chloe—."

"Don't touch her." Jess suddenly appeared behind them and she approached Chloe but the latter flinched and swat her hand as well. "It's fine Chloe, relax." Jess tried to approach the girl once again, Chloe looked up to her just to make sure that her face won't gonna change and when she made sure that Jess isn't, she let the woman help her to stand. "It's alright, calm down." Jess said while rubbing the cat-like eyed girl's back to soothe her since she's still trembling.

"She's a d-demon."

"No she's not, see? She's Yohan, you must've been too hungry to hallucinate like that."

"N-no."

"Have you ever seen such a demon with a pretty handsome face like Yohan?" Jess asked playfully, trying to calm the trembling woman but to no avail, Chloe is still afraid from what she saw earlier.

Yohan stood in her spot flabbergasted, she couldn't believe what just happened. Though she know that Chloe wasn't lying when she said that she's a demon, well, she's more than a demon, she's the masters of the demons. But how? That was the question hanging in the air and Yohan want to get an answer for that but she cannot ask Jess as of this moment because Chloe still believes in what she saw.

"Look.." Jess leave the woman to approached Yohan, she then cupped her face and tapped it lightly which caused Yohan to pull out from her daze. "She's not a demon, look how real her face." She pinched Yohan's both cheeks and stretches them.

"Ouch!" Yohan groaned in stinging pain.

"See?"

"But what did I saw earlier then?" Chloe asked like a kid, she somehow began to calmed.

"You almost faint and fortunately, Yohan caught you, you must be hallucinating that time, right Yohan?" There's a meaning behind Jess look that Yohan had to nod her head to agree.

"Yeah, I thought that you're really going to faint." Yohan said to convinced Chloe.

"You know what? Why don't you take some rest while I'm preparing your dinner?" Jess suggested and she jolt her head to the door and Yohan nod at her.

She glance at Chloe before following her friend outside the room, when she shut the door closed behind her, Jess grabbed her arm and dragged her down to the kitchen. Jess made sure at first that Chloe didn't follow them before she turned around to face Yohan.

"That was close Yohan Ceyx!" Jess exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air. "Agma told me that you came from hell?"

"I'm a Devil." Yohan shrugged her shoulders.

"Dumbass, I mean literally."

"That's literal—."

"Stop." Jess said as she held up her hand in the air to stop Yohan. "You've talked to your father."

"Yes."

"That's what I'm trying to say. You were just in hell a while ago and the first thing you did was hold Chloe? b***h, you almost killed her!"

"Shut it, she might hear you." Yohan shushed her and looked behind the witch. "What does going to hell have to do with Chloe seeing me in my true form?"

"Listen dumbass, once that you came from hell, you have to stay away from human for awhile until the demonic s**t in you releases—."

"I've once went to hell and hold Chloe when she passed out due to intoxication, but she didn't even see my face."

"She's drunk, that explains." Jess said as she started to prepare the ingredients she will use to cooking. "And you were not mad when you came out from hell that time, unlike now."

"I'm not mad." Yohan deadpanned.

"Yeah? From my spot, I can still see your tail." Jess pointed the obvious since Yohan couldn't notice it by herself. "You're lucky Chloe didn't see it when she's still in equanimity of herself. "

"Oh fuck." Yohan blurted out when she looked behind her and her pointed arrow tail greets her, as if it looked up to say hi to Yohan. "I'm so f*****g careless!"

"Just what exactly happened in hell, Yohan?" Jess asked, her voice laced with worry. For how long she's been with Yohan, this may be the first time that Yohan became careless about her appearance.

"Nothing." Yohan looked away, she sat on the stool in front of the countertop, her back facing Jess, her two elbows rested in her both sides.

"Have I ever told you that you don't know how to lie to me even if you are The Devil?" There's an emphasis in Jess last two words.

"Aren't you mad at me after what I did this morning?" Yohan asked to divert their topic. Jess chuckled and shook her head, knowing that Yohan won't talk even if she force it.

"Nah, you're just frustrated and worried about me, and thank you for that." Jess pointed out as she continue what she was doing.

"I fixed it, Jess." Yohan said without looking back at her friend. Jess looked up and stare at Yohan's back, waiting for her to continue her words. "Joy and Charlene are not engaged, Ivy was behind all of that since she's trying to protect her friends from me."

"What do you mean?"

"Ivy knows, she knows who I am."

"Ivy what?" Agma suddenly popped out from the kitchen door, holding Molly in her hand. "Does she also know me?"

"I don't know." Yohan shrugged as she bend over. "Come here Molly and give me a hug."

Molly rolled her eyes playfully but still obliged, she run towards Yohan and hugged the Devil tightly. "Are you in danger?" The kid asked whispery.

Yohan retracted herself from Molly and hold her shoulders, she tilt her head on the side with knitted brows.

"What do you asked?"

"Since Ivy know your real identity—."

"She's one of us." Yohan cut her off, Jess accidentally let go of the turner she was holding because of what she heard, Agma choked in the air and she started coughing violently.

"The f**k did you do?" Jess asked after she got recover from the shock.

"I made her one of us."

"Are you out of your mind?!"

"That was the only way to silence her with what she knew about me rather than killing her, right?"

"She got a point tho." Molly agreed to what Yohan did to Ivy.

"But—."

"Do you want my aunt Yohan to kill another human? I mean, if they found out who are the three of you then it's better to kill them to silence them, but since aunt Yohan promised me that my dad was the last human she killed. I'm glad she's fulfilling her promise."

There's a deafening silence engulfed them and for a moment, Yohan froze, the guilt kicked in and she had to look down to avoid Molly's gaze.

"Molly."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel bad." Molly said sincerely, she reached for Yohan's face and lifted it up to meet their eyes. "I already forgave you a long time ago, please don't feel bad." The kid's eyes glistened with tears that any minute it'll drop, so before it happen, Yohan wiped them out and smiled at the kid.

"I'm sorry."

"Nah.. You don't have to feel sorry, that's what you are." Molly said to assure the Devil.

"That's enough, I have to bring these food to Chloe's room." Jess butted in.

"Let me." Yohan stood up and take the tray from Jess's hand.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, thank you." Yohan smiled and she turn her heels. Molly, Agma and Jess watched her as she leaves the kitchen, there's a genuine smile on their lips.

"I don't know what is happening to Yohan, but I think I like it." Jess said.

"I like it too, but you know that it's a trouble." There's a worry in Agma's voice. "I saw Malphas outside."

"I know, I saw him yesterday as well."

"Who's Malphas?" Molly asked innocently.

"You don't wanna know, kid." Agma said as she rested her arm on top of Molly's shoulder. "But I want you to be careful, understand?"

"Yes ma'am, may I change my clothes now?"

"Yes you may." Agma smiled and patted the kid's head before letting her go. When Molly was far from their earshot. Agma and Jess's face changed real quick, they are now serious and mad while looking at Malphas through the open glass windows. The Demon smirked while holding the gaze of the two.

"This is becoming more interesting than I expected." Malphas said as his smirked grew wider, glowering at the women.

"Leave us alone, Malphas. If Yohan sees you here, you're dead." Agma threatened but Malphas just laugh mockingly at her.

"You think I'm scared? Even my Lord couldn't scare me, what more a traitor and imbecile Yohan?"

"If you're not scared to Yohan, then how about to the heiress of the witch kingdom?" Jess stepped out behind the counter and stood in front of Agma, Malphas smirked suddenly fades out upon seeing her but then he laugh demonically. His laugh sounds like coming from deep within the ground, it was scary but the women didn't show any fear.

"I want to know what will be your family's reaction if they find out that their heiress is in love with an ordinary woman—."

"Don't you f*****g dare to bring Charlene's name in here."

"Oh yeah? Tell me, Jess. Is it okay for a witch like you to like an ordinary human?" Malphas asked challengingly, Jess tried to attack him but Agma was too quick to stopped her by grabbing her on her waist. "I can tell them about—." His words abruptly stop as he received strong blow coming from nowhere, he rolled on the ground and hit his back on the tree. He groaned in pain and tried to stand but Yohan stepped on his shoulder to restrain him. He growl when he looked up to Yohan.

"What did I tell you, Malphas?" Yohan bend over a bit to lean her face a bit closer to Malphas. "Leave us alone." She said word by word.

"I can't do that, only to my lord will I follow."

"Oh yeah? Then how can you follow your lord if I turn you into an ash?" Yohan said mockingly as she stepped on him hardly to pinned him down more that he's almost piercing on the ground. Malphas growled more loudly and glower at Yohan, he tried to removed Yohan's foot but she's stronger than him in any aspects, power, strength, abilities and anything that he has. "I guess telling you to f**k off won't work on you, so.." Yohan trailed off her words as she looked behind her and signalled her friend to get closer. "I will let them teach you a lesson."

"Finally, some action." Agma said while cracking her knuckles, meanwhile Jess's hands already glowing, ready to use her magic to turn him into an ash.

"He's yours." Yohan said before she stepped back, letting her friends to beat the Demon.

Agma throws relentless punches at Malphas, making him rolled on the ground consecutively, while Jess keep holding his body using her magic to restraint him from so that he could not retaliate against Agma's blow.

Yohan looked up to the window where Chloe's room is, she let out a sigh and looked back down to her friends. "That's enough, we should go back inside."

"What do you want us to do with him?" Agma asked while holding Malphas, who's cover with his own blood.

"Do what you want." Yohan said before she turned her heels and walk back inside the house.

"Move, I'll kill him." Jess said and lifted her hands. Agma obliged quickly and leaped next to Jess, feeling so satisfied. "Got any last word, Malphas?"

The Demon, though he's too weak, he still managed to smile devilishly at the women. "You'll regret this." He said.

"Not even a bit, asshole." Jess shoot him with her magic. Malphas screamed in agony as his body glowed before he exploded and his body turned into an ash that scattered on the ground. "Serves him right." Jess scoffed.

"That was so satisfying to watch." Agma commented as she wrapped her arm on Jess's shoulder. "Now let's eat."

The two started to leave the backyard and went inside the house. Little did they know, the ashes started to gather around and became a small pile before it vanished.

"That must've hurt." Satan laugh.

"Please, allow me to replace Malphas and kill them." Asmodeus said as he kneeled in front of Satan.

"Not my daughter, Asmodeus."

"I won't, I just need Agma and Jess. And I will bring your daughter here to rule the hell wether she like it or not."

Satan stared at his third in command, trying to read what he's planning and when he sees the wrath and the will to take the revenge for his brother, he nod his head in satisfaction.

"You're not going there in that way." Satan said and he swings his hand in the air. Asmodeus levitates, he was surprised but didn't dare to react, he just waited till Satan put him back down on the ground. "You have to do something useful about your face before making a move."

Asmodeus was confused, he finally looked up to Satan with knitted brows. "What do you mean my lord?"

"First, you need to get to that Chloe before you get Agma and Jess and finally, bring back my daughter." Satan said as he waved his hand dismissively. Asmodeus bowed one last time before he stand in his feet and turn his heels. He's still confuse but he didn't ask again and leave the place. While he's in his journey in the human world, he happened to pass a establishment with glass wall and his steps halted, he walked back a few step and turn to face the glass wall. His eyes widened upon seeing a different face of a man, a perfect handsome face to be specific.

His hands went to his face, trying to prove that he is the guy in the reflection, then he smirked. "Now I know what my lord was talking about." He said as he saw the model agency where Chloe works through the reflection of the glass. "I'm going to kill all of you." He mumbled before started walking across the road to get to the building.
