The next day I went back for work and everything seemed to be back to normal. Luckily, I didn’t have to deal with bumping into Nikolas every now and then because he will be travelling to Washington for a seminar
I heard a knock on the door so I quickly put down the document I was attending to so the person who was knocking could come in
“That's strange to hear you knock on the door,” I said sitting back in my chair after I saw it was Michelle
“Morning Cammy!” Michelle greeted me feeling guilty
“AM sorry I left that night without telling you?” I said to her
“It’s fine I understand! It was probably my fault I should have informed you about Quinton” She replied looking down in shame
