Chapter Nine
Mandy and Ryan's day went by like a rocket. The two left the library and went, hand in hand, to the girl's apartment to leave her things. May was lying on the couch, watching one of those realities shows that she loved and she was all smiling when she saw the two together. Ryan commented that they were going to lunch and invited her to join them. Initially, May refused, thinking she should leave the new couple alone, but Ryan called Dean, who accepted the invitation immediately, which changed May's mind.
Mandy left Ryan in the livingh room with the remote control and went to the bedroom to pack her things while May went to change her clothes. A few minutes later, her friend came into the room wearing denim shorts and a low-cut blouse that left her shoulders out.
