The day was cloudy and very cold, very different from the warm summer mornings that Mandy had found in Providence. She couldn't help thinking that the climate was very similar to her inner self. Even though she had spent the past two weeks talking to her mother a lot and they were closer than ever, Mandy still didn't feel ready to be there.
