Sophia stirred in bed, waking up. She opened her eyes and yawned, stretching up her hand. Then she felt a warm, strong hand around her waist. She turned her head to her left and found a very handsome-looking Jace sleeping next to her.
She smiled at seeing his slightly open mouth. He was snoring cutely. She carefully lifted his hand from her waist and put it on his side. Jace turned to lie on his back. Sophie froze for a moment, pulling her bottom lip between her teeth. She didn't want to wake him up.
He came late last night because he had been busy with an important deal since last week. She placed her hand on her chest and slowly released her breath, which she held for a long moment.
