Brandon POV
I get a sense of deja vu as we head up to Gavin and Melissa's apartment while Annie is holding my hand. I don't feel quite as much anxiety over this visit, but I'm really hoping Gavin has something solid to go on for this guy. We get to their door and just like last time Melissa can barely control her excitement at having Annie here, unlike last time, Annie looks happy to be here as well.
"And who is this cutie?" Melissa asks after hugging Annie and bending down to pet Annie's new dog.
"Brandon got him for me," she tells her looking at me with wonder in her eyes once again.
