Mike was occupied with thoughts as he drove towards the hospital. His phone rang, breaking his reverie.
"Sir, the lady you brought here for treatment, she's now fully conscious. She was asking for you," the nurse said.
A smile appeared on Mike's face. "Hannah was asking for me," he thought. She needs him now. He felt a surge of happiness.
Liam was engaged, and when Hannah found out, she'd be heartbroken. He would be there to comfort her, to provide his shoulders for her to cry on. Soon, she'd be with him, and they'd live a beautiful life together.
