Leia’s POV. He took my mate away from me, locked him up, and still had the effrontery to come to me last night. Climbing into my bed and faking a yawn was the least I could do to send him away. It was almost midnight and I needed some to time to myself, to finalize the rest of my plan. “Have a great night, Leia,” he said. “You too, Calix,” I replied. Immediately he was gone, I waited for a while just to make sure he was really gone, then clambered down from my bed and locked the door. Reaching under my pillow, I wore the nose mask, adjusting its straps behind my head, and then I reached under my bed and brought out the incense burner I’d stolen from the apothecary earlier today.
