Leia’s POV. The castle was shrouded in midnight’s silence. Everyone has retired to their chambers—my cousin and his mate too. Slowly, I stepped out of my room and quietly shut the door after me. My cloak billowed after me as I hurried down the hallways of the castle, clutching tight the incense burner in my hands. Footsteps inched closer and I dodged, stepping into the shadows of a nearby alcove. Two guards strolled past, their voices low as they patrolled the area.
