My sister ran off pretty quick with her bear. When I tried to follow, the other bear, Kinlee, stopped me. She was the tallest woman I’d ever seen. It was a little intimidating.
“If they wanted you with them, they would’ve taken you with them. Leave the Ursa and Urso alone.” She growled.
“What if she needs help?”
“She needs no help from you. No bear worth his salt would harm his mate. My Urso is a good man. He wouldn’t hurt anyone who didn’t deserve it. You’re damned lucky he’s not as violent as a polar bear. If you’d attacked my brother like that in a fight, you’d be a head shorter.”
