I didn't want to be here doing this but I gave my word. But my pack did need a Luna and I haven't found my mate. I was still pretty firm in my belief of not wanting one but seeing everyone close to me find theirs and the changes it made in them I couldn't help but wonder if the same was out there for me. I had always thought and believed that mates made you weak, made you susceptible to defeat but my Beta had thrown that opinion out the window. Ever since Ryland had met his mate he had become fiercely protective, more aggressive when fighting, and tactical in all decisions. Gone was the aloof Beta who would play around during training.
