The undercover cop and his brother

Cayce was only seven years old that day, but he remembers it like it was yesterday. He got kidnapped by bad people because of his mother and his brother Charlie was the one who saved him. After that he returned to his mother and Charlie gave him his number and told him call him if something happens then he left. Ever since his father left his mother because she kept taking drugs it got worse. She started hanging out with bad people and started drinking. She wasn’t only a drug addict now she was also an alcoholic and slept around a lot. And sometimes she tried to inject him with drugs but failed because he ran out of the door every time. He also told his brother about it. Charlie got angry every time he heard this. Sometimes when he saw Cayce, he had bruises all over his body and he was also looking thinner every time they met. Then one day when he was visiting he didn’t see Cayce anywhere so he looked around and that’s when he saw an old apartment so he walked closer and saw a window so he looked inside and that’s when he saw their mother with her hands around his brothers neck strangling him so he ran to the door and kicked it so it broke then he ran inside and pushed her away from his brother. He could only look at their mother with anger and hatred for doing that to his younger brother. He couldn’t understand how a mother could ever do that to her child but then again, she wasn’t the same woman he once knew if he ever knew her at all. He couldn’t recognize her anymore. So, he took his younger brother with him away from there. And then he took custody of his brother which made him his brothers guardian until he is eighteen years old. From that day on Cayce lived with his older brother. He finished school and went to law school where he studied to be a cop or lawyer. But when he finished school Charlie told him that he suspects that there are corrupted cops among his men and around their father. That’s also when they heard that the mafia and drug Kartell was searching for their mother so they looked for her first and when they had found her she was mentally ill so they sent her away somewhere safe where even them couldn’t find them in case they were kidnapped or tortured. Then they come up with the perfect plan. Cayce signed up for two years of military training and joined the navy. The first year was tough but then he got used to it. After he finished, he returned to his brother’s side and told him that he will become a cop and be his eyes and ears to find the corrupted cops. Charlie didn’t agree at first but then he thought about it a little more and the more he thought about it the more it sounded like a good plan so he finally agreed. But if it got too dangerous, he told him to stop and Cayce agreed to this. On a Monday 08.00 am he walked inside the building to take the test. Those who wanted to become cops had to take a test and if the finish it and gets all marks they have passed the test. They were 30 of them that were there to take the test. But when there were 8 tests left only 15 people where left. The shooting test went well for Cayce and no matter which gun he used he always hit the mark and got full marks on the test. He passed and moved on to next which was close combat and like all the other tests he passed. Thanks to his training in the navy, he took down his opponent in 30 seconds. Which surprised the one who was in charge of them. He could see great potential in Cayce. After 4 hours all fifteen contestants had passed the tests and where now officially cops. They fallowed their supervisor to change into their uniforms then when they heard their name the walked to stand in front of their supervisor and then the supervisor gave them their badge and gun and bullets. Then after they were done, they could go home for today. But they had to be here at 08.00 am tomorrow morning sharp. Because they will get assigned to their departments and then they will get to introduce themselves to their new co workers and supervisor. Cayce knew that his brother would want to see him in his uniform so he decided that he would just take his things and change when he gets home. To his surprise his brother sat inside his car right outside the building. The windows on their car were tinted and bulletproof. So know one could see who was in the car or what they did. And just like he predicted the minute they got home and had closed their door to their apartment. Charlie took out his camera and asked Cayce to pose a few times so that he could take a few pictures of him while he still wore his uniform. Cayce agreed and smiled like a fool. He was happy to see his big brother getting excited and looking happy about him wearing the uniform.
