The first half of Eshe's day flies by without any difficulties, much to the relief of the young woman. During her lunch break in the empty Resource Room, she has the chance to play on her cellphone and skim the most recent news. She discovers twelve unread texts and five missed calls from the same person.
“The fool from that horrible date? What's so important?" She unlocks her phone and the texts reveal that he is upset she is blowing him off. She reads ridiculous accusations about why she has not contacted him back. Eshe starts to play one of the voicemails, then has second thoughts.
“I'm not wasting my time on this." She deletes all the texts then calls him back, getting his voicemail.
