Chapter 9 As much as Sarah hated kissing Cathie, she didn't resist due to threat that Cathie told her prior to watching her tie up Jerry. She hated to pretend that she was “using” Jerry. She loved him so much, but what could she do now? Cathie knew her secret, a secret Sarah had never even told Jerry. If Sarah didn't go through with Cathie's demand that she and Cathie had been lovers, she would expose her secret to Jerry. And Sarah had worked to hard to ever let her secret come out. “Well, well, well. Look who just woke up!” Cathie said, as she realized that Jerry was watching them. “Sarah, how can you do this to us?” a shocked Jerry asks. “I'm so sorry, Jerry.” Sarah said, trying to hide the tears that were forming in her eyes. “Your wife and I have been intimate for a couple months now, dear Jerry.” Cathie lied. “Why Sarah? I don't understand?” “I fell out of love with you when you neglected me with your 'work.'” Sarah said, noticing Cathie glaring at her. “Well, Jerry, I hope you like the current arrangement. But Sarah and I need to have a private chat.” Cathie told Jerry as she grabbed Sarah by a handful of hair and led her out of the room. Jerry struggled to free himself while Cathie was gone with Sarah. “What the hell do you think you are doing, showing those tears to Jerry?!” Cathie yelled, striking Sarah across the face. “I'm sorry! I'm not a good liar.” “Well, you had better make your precious Jerry believe we are lovers, if you don't want your secret out!” Cathie demanded. “How did you find out about it?” Sarah asked. “Nobody knew about my past.” “Let's just say, I did extensive research on both you and Jerry while I was in prison.” was all Cathie told her. “That's all you need to know.” “I can't afford to have that part of my life come out.” Sarah pleaded. “Well, do as I say and Jerry will never know.” Cathie told her. “I will do whatever you say.” Sarah said meekly. “Even if I lose Jerry. I'd rather lose Jerry for being 'gay' than to lose him over my secret.” Sarah do whatever it took to keep Jerry from knowing about her past. She would rather Jerry think she was gay than for him to find out about her past. Jerry would never forgive her for what happened back then. It was easier for him to believe she was gay. It was just easier!
