CHAPTER TEN Patrick’s den became his office, where he moved a fax machine and copier into cabinets he had specifically built. He also bought a new computer, something more powerful than his laptop – which he still preferred for most of his work. He also selected a new maid and hired another cook. Lily had opted for a cleaning service in the last few months, but since he planned on being home more often, he wanted a traditional household and a complete staff to have it functioning smoothly.
