The next morning, I woke up as soon as my sleep faltered when sunlight seeped in through the hospital windows. Unlike other days, I didn't laze around on my bed until some nurse had discovered I was awake or until I absolutely had to take my morning pee.
I woke up quickly, heading to the bathroom for all my morning necessities, including taking a shower. Fresh clothes were already brought for me from home, and it felt good to be able to slip into an over sized hoodie and leggings, getting a break from that large hospital gown, and then that cardigan and tee that I was not getting out of since the past two days, afraid they'll put me back into the gown.
