5. Acceptance
It had been a few days since the trip ended, and a few days since Sia was gone.
A driver and a car waited for the Wilson twins to pick them from the station and take them home, but Cole didn't go.
He took his own car and left to the family's farmhouse an hour away from California. He said he needed that time, and nobody stopped him. Daisy and Caleb were hoping he'd come around.
Cole deliberately wanted to be alone. He needed time to process everything that happened. He wanted to scream and cry and break things but when he actually was alone, he did neither.
