Interuniversity competition drew near the universities players flock in the city in preparation for the competition Angela and her teammates trained extra harder the committee had sleepless nights organizing for the competition Derrick Elvis ad other official had a frequent meetings since they were the host university they had an opening game that created a lot of excitement Angela and her teammates had an advantage over the team because they had full support from their fellow students in the university the opening ceremony was conducted all the participating universities highlighted and they came to the international stadium for an opening ceremony the Aberdeen university students walked around the stadium as the music played followed by Oxford university carrying their university flags all the students from various universities sat around the stadium for an opening ceremony all the teams went around the the stadium on athletics truck moving around the stadium as the students wave their teams before the competition started the the governor gave speech to and welcome the university from other counties.

"The opening match is between Aberdeen university and Grace university" Governor said.

The students stood to cheer.

"The match is going to take place in Aberdeen university basketball court" He said.

"I declare the competition opened the first match will commence at two" Governor said.

Angela and her teammates cheered they knew they are going to win since they are going to play in their basket ball court the opening ceremony was over the students headed to the Aberdeen university to watch the match between Aberdeen university and Grace university joy bought new games kits and gave them to her team mates Derrick and Elvis were not able to attend the competition since they are that official officiating the competition it was already approaching two pm the two teams had already lined up in the court ready to lay the students sat waiting anxiously for the match to start Ruth started the match Angela sat on the bench it was difficult for the students to differentiate between Angela and Ruth since the had Sharp resemblance the match started and Nelly scored five basket very fast the students cheered happily Grace university scored four at the same time and it became five four the first round ended the second round salt scored six scored and the grace university scored six and it became eleven ten by the captain realized that if she does not do something that can lose I the third round Angela replaced Sally Sally didn't like the idea but she had to go to the bench the third round Angela took the game she became the lady of the match she scored ten basket at once and it became twenty two against sixteen the third round ended the Aberdeen university students cheered as they saw victory the final round was played it was an euphoric moments the students saw the victory in their hands they stood to cheer Angela took the moment to score fifteen busker at the Grace university scored seven goals and the referee ended the game the students rushed and carried up Angela celebrating and congratulating him for making their team to win Ruth Sally and Nelly were shocked they didn't expected Angela to make them win and more so became the Lady of the match.

"I think we should not have invited her to the team I personally made mistake" Nelly said.

But tat was the best idea they say bring you enemies together" Ruth said.

There was a commotion and confusion the students came and carried up Ruth thinking she was Angela carrying all round the basketball court already other students were going around the university carrying all over Angela Sally and Nelly took the opportunity to celebrate Ruth instead of Angela that created a lot of confusion Derrick came to see what was going on he saw Ruth being carried by students all round the basketball ball court he thought it was Angela he walked to the administration block for the next meeting the students arrived carrying Angela he was surprised how the students arrived at the administration block he went into the administration block o start the meeting joy was shocked to see students carrying a wrong person all over celebrating thinking it was Angela she had to let them be the celebration subsided the students rested waiting for the next match though there was other matches being played it was not so important for them Joy joined Sally and Nelly they sat on the basketball bench waiting for Ruth to return.

"Congratulations guys you did us proud remember one person cannot win the match but the entire team take credit" Joy said.

"That is true but our funs celebrated the scorer they should ave celebrated the entire team" Sally said bitterly.

"But when you are going to be given an award all of you are going to take credit don't worry dot be jealous at Angela she might be a bridge to all of you to join the national team" Joy said.

"I peg you don't fight one another until we finish the competition" Joy said.

"Remember the officials from the the national team are already here and you know what they want the need players for our country's national team" Joy reiterated.

Sally Ruth and Nelly looked at each other in surprise they didn't like what joy said though they agree that Angela could make them succeed in basket ball.

"I hope you've understood me don't fight Angela she is a Godsend player she can make us join national team or make our team to be a national team as well" Joy said.

The students were done going round taking Angela around the university Angela rushed back to the basketball court to meet her teammate she met Ruth Sally Nelly and Joy seated on the bench sh joined them joy smiled happily.

"You made us proud we are going to take this I promise" Joy said.

"Yes it's not going to be an easy game but we will work hard for this we need some of us or entire team join the national team" Angela said.

She turn and looked at her friends and she realized that they are not happy she was very surprised she wanted to ask them but she feared joy realized that the three colleagues are not happy she knew the reason why joy looked at Angela she remembered romantic moments she had with Derrick she yearned to have j again but she didn't know how Angela removed her clothes from the bag and put on a chilly evening approached the rest of the teammates put on their cloths Joy still stuck on memory sleeping with Derrick she yearned for another time with him but she knew it's not going to be easy to make Derrick sleep with her again by intoxicating him Angela looked at her.

"I reckoned that you have a wonderful memories to think please can you share with me?" Angela said.

"Sorry no memories at all it is just how to sin the next games" Joy said.

Ruth Nelly and Sally went without saying anything Angela was surprised as she watched go back to the hostel very sad.

"What is going on with them they should be happy we won the game" Angela naively.

Joy looked at her and smiled.

"You don't have to be naïve open your eyes don't trust anyone whatever small things you have people are not happy seeing you having" Joy said.

"What do you mean I don't have anything that can make my friends jealous at me" Angela said.

"Remember you are a daughter of a billionaire a beauty Queen a celebrity made today after scoring many baskets within a very short time and made the time emerged victorious today few minutes ago" Joy explained.

"You mean my great friends are jealous of me because we played together and made our team win let them be serious" Angela said emotionally.

"Yes your friends could be jealous with you in simple term only you have to put your boundaries for them not to step on your toes" Joy said.

Angela didn't know what to say and what to think she was surprised to what joy told her not knowing that Joy was another worst enemy a nightmare to her she slept with her boy friend Derrick Joy looked at her as Angela faced at the basketball court taken by thoughts.

"I love Derrick we slept together yesterday I don't know how I will win him I love him so much but I know one day he will be mine" Joy said to herself

She looked at Angela she wished she was her but it was not possible for her to change to be Angela she stood walk around the basketball court as the sun set with the sun rays that warm the court it became warm as the students went back to the hostels in the evening to rest for the next day Angela thought of her love Derrick she smiled the romantic moment was brought Derrick kissing her she smiled it was is if it was reality Derrick was done with the take of the day he didn't watch the match because he is amongst those who plan for the entire games he stood on the balcony trying to see if Angela has come from the the basketball court but he didn't see her he thought of her her beauty her charming personality her kisses her humility he smiled his thought brought the moments as if it was real he stood thinking rushed downstairs passed group of students analysing the match of the day he ran toward the basket all court he saw Angela seated on the bench and joy going round the court Derrick walk slowly for him to surprise Angela, Angela in nostalgia thinking about Derrick, Derrick rushed and surprised her Angela stood in surprise Joy laughed as Derrick embraced Angela, joy upon reckoning that Derrick embraced Angela she didn't like the idea t all she was full of jealousy and looked at them sadly Derrick realized that Joy is of happy previous moment was brought when Joy intoxicated him to have s*x with him Derrick looked at her their eyes met joy looked at him suggesting something Derrick reckoned that she is yearning for another night for romantic escapades but Derrick swore that he will never fall her ploy anymore.

"Love let's go to the hostel it's getting late," Angela said

"But before we go congratulations for being the best player of the match the lady of the match" Derrick said.

Angela laughed happily.

"Thanks my dear" She responded.

Angela picked her bag and walked towards their hostel as joy followed them sadly.

They rushed upstairs to their hostel Derrick quickly took a shower as Angela prepared the evening meals Derrick wanted to sleep early because he was exhausted in what he passed through in the previous night and also during the day when he was officiating the entire competition joy rushed into her hostel sadly thinking about Derrick if wishes were horses she could have ride on the wishes but in reality she will never have Derrick willingly she sat to think but she was too tired to think Sally Nelly and Ruth stood in the balcony they saw charity approaching she created them.

"It was a successful day we won," Charity said

Yes it was a moment to reckoned but Angela outshined all of us" Ruth said.

"Are you going to Joy's hostel we've seen you several times going there Derrick was there and he stayed until late in he evening with other unknown visitors" Sally said.

"Yes Derrick is amongst the officials planning the basketball competition that is why he was in Joy's hostel plus other officials from other universities" Charity replied.

"I am curious, how long did the meeting went?" Ruth asked.

"They had many things to discuss at midnight the meeting ended" Charity replied.
