Jack's first move

Sally Ruth and Nelly woke up early knowing that they would be facing another strong team Sally served breakfast they sat around the table to take the breakfast Sally removed her phone to call.

"Who do you want to call," Ruth asked.

"Jack he has a mission to accomplish I need him to come to the court as we prepare to play the match we will invite him to sit with Angela," Sally said.

"That is a good idea" Ruth responded.

She wanted to dial the phone and rang it was a message from Jack he checked on the message and money was transferred to her account thirty thousand dollars she was very excited and full of emotions but she tried to hide and called Jack, Jack received the call.

"Jack hope you are already on your way," Sally said.

"I am already at the basketball court your fans are already there I am waiting for Angela," Jack said.

"Sally increased the volume on his phone.

You mean you are at the basketball court waiting for Angela?" Sally asked.

"Yes we are already seated with Joy your captain she is waiting for you that match is starting in two hours," Jack said.

Ruth and Nelly heard they were very happy that it was going to be an opportunity for Jack to win Angela Ruth Sally and Nelly hurried to put on their games kit to go to the court there was another message on Sally's phone she quickly checked it was from Jack

"The task you gave me is not easy but let's make a deal with you the money I send to you is to convince Ruth that it is possible but in reality, it's not possible but let's do it to earn the easy money hope you understand what I am saying" Jack texted

Sally looked at Ruth and Nelly they were busy changing in preparation for the game she replied to the text.

"You are right to let's do it for money so long as she is willing to pay that is the best idea" Sally texted back.

Sally thought about the idea and she realized it was a good idea and a good deal to the hurried and rushed to the basketball court to practice as they waited for their opponent to arrive they saw Jack seated between Angela and Joy talking to Sally Ruth and Nelly ran around the court to warm up Jack realized that they have come Angela stood and joined them there were cheers I over basketball court as other teams battle up for the preliminaries to the quarter-final the opponent team arrived Angela and her teammates came back to the bench to hear the word from their coach Angela knew that she is going to play in the third round she sat right beside Jack as Joy talked to her team thought Joy had to start playing the first round the coach came to give them direction Jack realized that Ruth and Angela has a sharp resemblance.

"I don't differentiate you and Ruth are you twin sisters?" Jack asked.

"No we met at this university we are strangers" Angela replied.

"Then there must be a problem you might be sisters and you don't know If one day you go for a DNA test you might be related," Jack said.

Ruth realized that Jack had already started to approach Angela she was happy that Jack would manage to separate them from Derrick.

"You don't believe me, we are strangers "Ruth came after me she transferred from a different university" Angela replied.

Jack looked at Angela he sympathized with her knowing how the three ladies were fighting her without her knowledge Jack heard Angela realize that Jack was taken by thoughts

"I see you are thinking about something is there a problem" Angela interrupted Jack in his thought.

"Life is unfair I am thinking about my friend who is being fought by friends she trusts and she has no idea her enemy has spent resources to beat her," Jack said.

"Who could this be I wish to know her" Angela responded.

"You don't know her but with time you will know her," Jack said.

Angela thought about what Jack told him she could not understand why is the lady being fought she didn't know that Jack referred to her Joy realized that Jack and Angela at becoming friends she was done giving direction to the team the team went into the court ready to pay thy shake hands as the referee looked at the watch for the game to start the game started Joy sat on the bench to watch already the students started cheering Angela saw that the team was more tactful than the previous team they scored fifteen basket at one against ten joy got confused seeing that they are going to lose the first round they all stood from the bench to cheer Angela got shocked seeing that they are going to lose the first round jack realized that the match took Angela's attention he had to wait for them to sit for him to try to talk to her the first round ended twenty five out of fifteen the team shocked Joy got a shock the students got frustrated others moved out of the court they knew they are going to lose the match Joy reorganized her team and Sally and Nelly played forward Ruth played defence they started the second round Ruth and Nelly played to their best and they were on a barren draw in the second round.

"That is better": Joy shouted.

They went for a third round Angela got onto the court to play and she utilized her skills and managed to beat the twenty buskers against fifteen the cheering squad roared other students rushed to see what was going on and they found them shouting Angela! Angela in the fourth round Angela played her best and made the team win Joy sat on the bench beside Jack.

"You mean Angela is a professional basketball player she took the game by storm and changed everything," Jack said.

"I had already lost hope that we were going to lose the game but Angela turned the tables upside down," Joy said.

"Me too I am surprised you have the best player but she has enemies in the name of friends," Jack said.

"If you don't have enemies you can't make in life you must have hurdles to jump over and that is going to strengthen you," Joy said.

Jack looked at Joy in surprise.

"You mean enemies make people succeed?" Jack asked.

"If you don't have any challenges you will never learn," Joy said.

Sally Nelly and Ruth came and sat on the bench next to Joy Angela carried around by the cheering squad in celebration of their win Joy looked at them and smiled.

"Congratulations it was not an easy game we won thanks to Angela," Joy said.

Sally said not like what Joy said.

"To the whole team of course!" Nelly said.

"To the entire team," Joy reiterated.

Angela took around the university to the administration back to the basketball court Jack reckoned how desperate the three ladies were, and he wondered how wicked were they he realized that amongst themselves there was a hidden rivalry between the ladies and Joy he looked at Ruth she had sharp resemblance with Angela he though heard he reckoned that they might be twin sisters he thought on how he will identify them if they were twin sisters he recalled what the lecturer said that hair can be used to identify or to ascertain their DNA test she looked at Ruth's hair he realized that there were white particles on his hair.

"Ruth there are white particles on your hair can I remove them," Jack asked.

Sally and Nelly looked at her hair.

"Please do so" Ruth responded.

Jack quickly removed the particles on his hair and made sure that he got a piece of hair and placed it carefully in his pocket without being seen as Joy and her teammates put to n their clothes on top of their game skits Jack accomplished what he wanted Joy looked at the scoreboard and realized that their next game is the following day in the afternoon the students were done celebrating Angela came back to the court and sat beside Jack he gets something unusual.

Angela changed after a rigorous celebration she sat next to Jack Nelly Ruth and Sally moved away to pave the way for Jack Angela was surprised when they moved away Jack looked at her hair he realized that there was a piece of hair on her game kit.

"There is a fly on your clot let me remove it," Jack told her.

"Please do so immediately," Angela said in fright.

Jack removed the hair and pretended to throw it away and after Angela became busy he placed it in the pocket of his shirt he thought of the topic in the university about genetics he yearned for the lessons for he knew he had the DNA samples Angela was done putting on clothes she sat.

"You look beautiful but I can differentiate you and Ruth even when you played people don't differentiate you two," Jack said.

"I think I have fallen in love with you," Jack said.

"You think you are not sure," Angela asked.

Angela looked him in the eyes and laughed he realized Jack was handsome as Derrick Sally Nelly and Ruth walked towards the hostel.

"May I have your number please" Jack requested.

"Are you serious you mean it?" Angela asked.

"Yes I mean please may I have it please?" Jack requested.

Angela gave him her number Derrick was done officiating other matches he rushed for Angela he found her standing with Jack chatting. "Sweetheart congratulations you made the team win I was watching as we were officiating the matches," Derrick said.

Angela rushed and hugged her for a while Jack realized that she had a boyfriend and guessed that it was Derrick he rushed towards his car and drove off as Derrick and Angela walked to their hostel.
