“I actually prefer the HUD to my old one.” Gideon was using the BANDIT suit’s ion thruster pack to manoeuvre around Isolde’s laboratory. “And the sensation of weight is kinda reassuring. Those C.O.B.R.A. MKII suits were almost too good; I honestly wasn’t sure about the way they did most of the thinking for me.”
Fan nodded enthusiastically, “Me neither, you’ve done a great job Gwen, it’s good to be wearing something that isn’t sending my every thought back to some drone at Kaoteck HQ.” Before he had even finished speaking, Fan realised what he had said and shot an alarmed glance at Gideon. “Oh! I’m sorry man, I don’t mean Avery, she’s not a drone, I mean…She’ll be okay.”
