“Hey Mel-a-nniieee,” Amy’s voice whined as they sat doing homework during study hall after lunch.
Josiah and Brad were sitting across from them in the library. If there was one thing Melanie had thought would never happen, it was this. Brad and her had never sat together before to do homework. She suspected that Josiah and Amy had made Brad promise to behave because he had simply nodded her way before sitting down to tackle his massive AP history essay that Mr. Blackworth had assigned. How Brad even got into AP history despite being such a slacker was a mystery all of it's own in Melanie's eyes.
