“You’re here to see Lana?” Tony asked conversationally, leading Melanie inside. “She’s in our study. Feel free to go there.” Tony pointed it out to her. “You want anything to drink?”
Melanie paused a fraction of a second before shaking her head ‘No’ and going to see Lana.
“Why are you looking at me like you want to rip my head off?” Tony asked curiously as he led his younger brother into the kitchen. “Want a beer?”
