Asani awoke to the faint sound of streaming water. He had fallen asleep on his stomach, he grimaced as he began to stir, and inhaled a large breath of air. Instantly, he regretted the action as dirt filled his nostrils. Sitting up he began sneezing and coughing. Upon hearing the birds chirping above, he finally took in his surroundings. He was in the woods, the tall balding trees swayed as the wind blew. He stood naked as the day he was born, and still bound by the cuffs that were meant to hold him but ultimately failed. It was a crisp morning, but the frostiness didn't bother him as he made his way to the edge of the cliff to peer down at the river below.
