“I THINK SHE did it herself.”
To be honest, it wasn’t really that surprising to hear Rosalie say that. Accusing the Queen of doing this herself was the logical thing to do. After all, she was humiliated in front of a lot of people and she might want to do the same to the Alpha King. What surprising was the fact that she had the nerve to say it out loud, inside this palace, like the Queen herself wasn’t residing here for the time being.
I sent her a look, to which she replied with a shrug.
“There is no other explanation. Why would someone spread a rumor about the Alpha King knowing the consequences? The Queen will have no consequences even if she was the one who spread the rumor. The least she could have was being kicked out of the palace and banished to some land.”
