This morning couldn’t get better and better. Hearing that news felt like it was blowing all my weekend into pieces. I still hadn’t forgotten how dinner went last night. It was terrifying to think that I had acted like such a brat. Kaden must have thought ill of me ever since what happened and I couldn’t even blame myself.
Kaden was going to hate me even more.
And now, this. The Queen herself. Ready to launch another hell into my life.
“What do you mean the Queen is here?” I turned around sharply. I almost sent my lady-in-waiting into the wall. She immediately went nervous like she was saying the wrong thing.
