IT WAS CRAZY to think that only a couple of weeks ago, I was no one, scraping food in the streets, and sleeping in between the dark corners of the stores, right? Now, I was wearing an expensive dress—albeit a flimsy one. I was riding a horse with the Alpha King himself, touching his hands, and breathing in on his scent. I was treated like a Queen, served by a lot of maids, and even owned a lady-in-waiting. I could eat whatever I wanted and I could sleep on a comfortable bed. I was able to take a bath every day and I would never have to be cold again.
