IT WAS COLDER than the King’s palace. The room designated for me was right at the end of the scary castle I was in. The castle itself was nowhere on the mainland. I didn’t recognize anything outside when I glanced from the windows. I tried noting what I saw again. Around seven skinny, square towers formed a protective wall on two sides of the castle and were connected by strengthened, thick walls made of light brown stone. The windows were elegant though, a stark difference to what a rather old and terrifying castle. There were walls in an asymmetric pattern, along with huge crenellations with archers and artillery.
