Together, Breeard and Sieren brought us to the top of the pit and away from the horrors below. We were brought to a quiet part of the castle and put into a small room with sand coloured walls. There was a fireplace, already burning with a bone - warming fire. I was placed by the fire but kept moving to sit by Talon's bed.
"Let us tend to him, sweet Lady," a kind healer told me gently. He looked at Sieren, who took both of my arms and said to me,
"Go get some blankets, they will be done with him by then."
