As soon as he heard that, Blaine pushed the laptop away from him. The smile on Magnus' face faded. It was replaced with a frown.
" Why would I do this when I'm not even sure if Lara was safe!" Blaine muttered.
Magnus glared at him.
" I'm willing to cooperate but first, bring Lara here," Blaine demanded. Now, he's got the situation controlled. He noticed a traced of hesitation on Magnus' face but he quickly covered it by threatening him again.
Magnus raised his phone, telling him he will call his men anytime, and they will obey at what he will say be it harming Lara.
