I lift my arms , covering my breasts but he is still staring into my eyes , "I won't touch you like that , unless you ask ." He winks as he holds his hand out and I take it , he helps me into the bath and I could feel his eyes trail every gash in my back as I settle in .

I glance over my shoulder at him and a deep frown covers his handsome face , he even looks hot mad .

"I'm sorry ." I turn my body to him and he sighs , "You have zero reasons to be sorry , Regan on the other hand , has a lot ." He grits out as he steps into the bathtub , we both stand in it and he sighs before bending , grabbing the edges of the bath before settling down in the water .

He stares up at me with soft eyes , his ocean orbs calming me and he holds out his hand for me to take .

"Just come relax ." He nods his head to the side and I take his hand , "Turn your back to me ." He sighs and I do , feeling awkward in the fact he's staring at my ass right now .

I hiss as the warm water connects with my wounds , but I blow out steady breaths , my cheeks hallowing as I adapt to the heat and I sink in , relaxing between his parted thighs .

His hand rests on my waist before he tugs me closer , my ass sliding over the base of the tub until my back connects with his chest and my head automatically lols back against his shoulder .

"This is nice ." I breathe out , wary but I trust him .

Something about him just makes my nerve wrecking feelings go away .

His fingers slowly drags up and down my thigh , but the tension is calm and his head leans against mine .

"Tell me , Eleia..." my body slightly tenses , "Are you okay ?" He breathes out and my insides crumble , I thought he was going to ask something about Regan .

"I'm fine ." I croak out , my eyes stinging because of the unshed tears .

"No , not fine , are you okay ?" He breathes out , his hot breath fanning my ear .

"I'm a little bit sad ." I shrug and I could feel his chest sink , "Because of Regan ?" His voice shakes and I could tell he was mad .

But it's wasn't about Regan , he betrayed me and all I feel is anger when I think of him .

"No , he doesn't deserve my sadness . My body aches because of everything , but no , I'm not sad about that monster ." I sigh and the tension in the air vanishes .

"Then what are you sad about ?" His hand trails up and down my abdomen , right in between my breasts and back down , my body wanting to jerk as goosebumps erupt all over .

"I didn't get to say goodbye to Rosie , or bring her with me ." I sigh , my heart aching .

"Who's Rosie ?" He asks , his fingers still trailing my body .

"My best friend , my only friend... she's like me too , an omega , hurt by those people ." Anger brews in my heart .

"We'll get her ." His voice holds promise .

"When ?" I sigh , knowing that she would lose her mind if she stays there too long .

Those other girls are bullies and Rosie is so soft , she can't stand up for herself .

I remember the first day she got there , we were about ten and the other girls were picking on her and when night came , they took all of her things , kicking her and I woke up and punches the girl knocked out who was hurting her .

He let's out a low growl , a growl so deep that it vibrates through my body .

I sigh in frustration and he chuckles as he pushes me forward and he leans for the soap .

"Trust me Eleia , I do want you ." He breathes out as he gently begins to wash my back , "But this , in your state , is not the right time ." He breathes out .

I stay silent , knowing that he's just looking out for my well being , but I want to rid my body of Regan Night .

I can't believe , that after everything I have seen in that pack , that I believed him .

What the hell was I thinking when he said he was going to tell his parents and then come find me?

He probably chased me off before I could tell anyone , but I did tell someone...

I told Rosie..

Oh goddess , her life is in danger .

"Aiden ." My body tenses and I scoop up water , rinsing the soap off me before I jolt up , almost slipping .

"What's wrong ?" He asks as he follows suit and I climb out of the bath , grabbing the first towel I see .

It has his spicy scent all over , "I need to go back ." I mutter as I try and think of a way to get Rosie out of there .

"No , no ." He jumps out , the water dripping from him soaking the floor .

"She's in danger Aiden." I snap as I reach for his shirt .

"Wait ." He grabs my wrist before I could run out of the door , "She'll be fine ." He tries to calm me down .

"No , she knows . She knows I was his mate and he chased me off for a reason Aiden ." I try to pull free but he's too strong and he pulls me to him , his hands grabbing my arms too keep me in place .

"I will get her , but you don't go back there ." He stares into my eyes with a worried look and my legs won't stop shaking in fear .

"How ? How will you get her ?" I snap , refusing to believe that Regan would even let his worst enemy come near the pack .

"I made friends with his friends , a secret alliance , I'll call them ." He talks me down .

"I'll ask if one of their men can claim her as their mate , alright ? I'll explain and he'll tell her to play along ." He nods and I could tell that he would do anything .

"Tell him to tell her that I said she is a soldier , fighting to survive . Then she'll believe him , alright ?" My voice shakes and he nods , pulling me into a hug .
