The next day, Lysandra went to the precinct early, ready for the swamped work waiting for her. And when she got to her desk, she was not surprised by the folders on it. She was used to it anyway so she just started working immediately.
After a few hours, she was finally done and went out to have her late lunch. She ate alone and quickly since she knew that the folders would multiply rapidly. And when she was back at her desk, there were tons of folders. She sat down on her chair and started working on her computer. She was about to start working when Kaiden walked over to her desk, in his all-black get-up, looking handsome and all.
“Good morning.” He greeted her.
“Morning,” Lysandra replied, still had her focused on her computer.
