Prologue

The high pitch wailing echoed throughout the pack hospital, catching everyone’s attention. The pack members working at the hospital felt another life connected to the pack was born. Not just one life but two lives. Everyone clapped their hands, as a sign of them welcoming the new members.
Alpha Lykos and Alpha Lynox both let out a sigh of relief the moment they heard the baby crying. Their mate and wife, Roe were inside the operating room, giving birth to their children.
The twins are ecstatic when they brought Roe to the hospital when she started having contractions. They are too excited like two bouncing baboons that Roe got annoyed at them and kicked them out of the operating room.
So, the twins were waiting outside the operating room. And the moment they heard the first cry of their child, they are both relieved and happy. They felt their hearts swell with so much happiness and love.
When another cry was heard, but of a different tone, the twins looked at each other with triumphant grins on their faces.
“Twins!”
They both exclaimed at the same time.
They knew they are having twins but they didn’t know what gender as Roe wanted it to be a surprise. And now that their children have been born, they are now excited to know their genders.
Their genders don’t really matter as long as both babies are healthy, but at the same time, Lykos and Lynox wanted boys so they can teach them all the pranks they know. They also wanted to have girls that will be as beautiful and fiery as their mates.
The twins have pulled out their thoughts when their Beta and Delta came rushing to them.
“Alpha!”
They called, bowing their heads as soon as the twins turned to them.
“We heard, congratulations.” Tyler, the Beta said.
“Thank you.”
The twins responded at the same time.
“How was the Luna?” Aleksei, the Delta asked.
“We still don’t know.” They answered at the same time again.
Both Tyler and Aleksei furrowed their eyebrows, confused as to why they still didn’t know how was their mate doing. And when the twins noticed their confused faces, they both sigh and spoke.
“She kicked us out of the operating room.”
Both Tyler and Aleksei’s mouths turned to an O as they understood what happened.
“Why are you two here anyway?” Lykos asked.
“Oh, we are here to inform you that Councilman Philip is coming, he’s at the borders as we speak,” Tyler answered.
The twins scowled.
“Now, why would he come here?” Lynox asked and Tyler shrugged.
“Received the crypt keeper properly and tell him we’ll see him tomorrow. We’re busy,” Lykos said and both Tyler and Aleksei nodded in understanding the situation.
Then the twins dismissed them. And when they left, that is when the pack doctor came out of the operating room.
“Alphas.”
The twins turned and they rushed toward the doctor’s side.
“How was our mate?”
They asked at the same time and the doctor smiled.
“The Luna is doing fine and she will be transferred to her room.” The doctor answered.
“How about our baby?” Lynox asked.
“Babies.”
The doctor corrected them, making them smile broadly.
“How are they?”
The twins asked together enthusiastically and the doctor smiled.
“The princess came first, followed by the young prince.”
