His Unwanted Human Mate

Chapter-1

Jason's POV:

My senses got awakened by the sweetest scent of my mother, Iris Carter Blue. I got into a sitting position even before she entered my room.

"Wakie,wakie my cutie pie" she sang in her sweet voice. I chuckled internally, If you haven't understood already this is my routine.

"Mom, Seriously? I am 16"I groan.

"So what? Still, you are my cutie pie" she embraced me. I leaned in her scent. They say mate scent is intoxicating but I bet it won't be better than my mother's. She has a sweet vanilla scent.

"Your dad already finished his training and yet you are here in the bed," she said.

Like I care, I thought to myself. I don't like my dad, I loath him but I can't let these people notice that.

I give her a smile "It's ok, I will freshen up and start training, my luna" I say. She tickled me to make me get up fast. My room got filled with both our smiles.

My mom left the room, leaving me alone. Silence filled the room.Packhouse is also silent as many people might still be sleeping. Every day I wait for my dad, oops the alpha to complete his training so that I won't cross paths with him when I train.

I try my best to avoid him, but at the dinners and pack meetings, it is unavoidable. I sigh and stepped into the wash area. I splashed some water on my face to get rid of the drowsiness. I wipe the fog formed on the mirror. My forest-green eyes sparkled a bit, it's Arthur's way of greeting me.

Arthur is my wolf. Hi, I am Jason Blue, the next alpha of the Blue Moon pack. I love my family, I love my friends, I love my pack but the only person I hate is my dad. I can't let anyone know that.

I changed into joggers and descended down. I spot Danny, Daniel whom I love to call Dany at the door, waiting for me. I sigh and shake my head.

I caught his eyes and I flashed him a smile which he gladly returned. All the ladies are in the kitchen, preparing the food.

"Hey Danny" I greet him.

"Good Morning Jason" he greeted me back.

"Where is your sister? I ask him.

"No idea, maybe at the training grounds already?" he shrugged his shoulders.

We started jogging to the ground and Danny is a step behind me. I forgot to mention, Daniel Scott...Uncle Eric's son. Uncle Eric is our beta and soon Danny will be my beta or maybe his sister, will decide when the time comes.

At times Dany's behavior irritates me like he is very protective of me. Saying he is the next beta and he should take care of me. But it's not that great as it sounds. I am not a kid, duh.

Few of my pack members are bowing to me as we pass by. I love my pack and the members. Though these people once used to bully my mom they changed when she became luna. Even I make sure that there is no bullying in my pack grounds, we are one family after all.

As we were heading to the grounds I heard the voices of female warriors, I think they are training as well. The one best thing ever done by my dad is the idea of training females as well.Making everyone equally strong and that made our pack the strongest. I have to be glad that at least he did that.

My wolf senses heightened, I heard a wooden branch twitch sound. I smirk. I know who it is even without glancing back. My lips turned into a smirk, I decided to fight her but for this one time I want to see her smiling and happy rather than the usual pout she gives whenever she loses, such a sour loser, I chuckle inwardly.

She attacked me from the back and I stumbled forward but balanced myself, cos who guessed her moves way before? But yeah had to act.

"Amy, you took me off guard," I say.

"Amy, you can't do that to our future alpha" Dany spoke.

"Hahaha, like I care"Amy gave us a smirk and there is this proud smile on her face that she succeeded in attacking me. My lips twitched.

"Alpha says that 'one should always be on guard. Never let your guard down' " she spoke.

My smile dropped and I shake my head again, these Scott siblings I say.

Here comes the alpha's pet and my best buddy Amelia Scott, Amy.Daughter of our beta and eldest among the twins. If Dany is overprotective of me, Amy just loves her Alpha uncle Priston. She adores him but I can't see why?

She is the favorite in our family, though we follow pack hierarchy given my dad and uncle Eric, My mom and Aunt Eva are friends, we became a happy family.

She extended her hand and I took it gladly "You are late buddy" she said.

"I am fine though"I replied.

"It's been months since I saw you and uncle Priston train together Jason," Amy said.

"Not again Amy," I say. Once I used to follow my father's steps, I wanted to be like him, I used to train with him, I was just like his shadow but no longer. My palm turned into a fist by thinking of him.

"Okay, you both carry on. I will go back to the packhouse, will let you know once the breakfast is ready" she gave us both a high five and ran to the house.

We both did warmups and one-to-one dual. We both got drenched in sweat.

Now we are in the packhouse having breakfast along with the other pack members, my mom serving me the pancakes. I sat left side of the main chair, mom's place is the right chair. Amy sat beside me and Dany beside her.

Aunt Eva and uncle Eric entered the dining area.

"Aunt, the truth must be said, you look beautiful" I complimented her.

"Boy, she is off your limits"Uncle Eric said. I chuckled. I love their bond, the mate bond. The purest and precious bond made by the moon goddess.

I and Amy started our usual bickering, lost in our own world.

"How I wished you are Amy's mate Jason"mom spoke.

"I know right," said Aunt Eva.

"Seriously guys? we are not" said Amy.

I shake my head, they are at it again. Being said that my mom and aunt Eva are friends they expected their children to be best friends, which we already are. But looking at mine and Amy's closeness, they expected us to be mates. But sadly we are not.

It's not like I am sad or something, she is my best friend and she will always be one.

"You know I haven't found my mate yet right?" I say.

I heard a couple of sighs in response.

I am 16, the age wolves find their mates. I am 16 for the past 5 months but haven't found my mate yet and I am not even interested in one, I have my reasons. I was lost in my thoughts when the air around me became powerful, the aura that emits from a powerful alpha wolf is in the air.

My dad, the Alpha Priston blue.

Everyone stood up and so did i.Even I don't want to my wolf will still surrender to its Alpha. The wolf ways I say.

"Good morning everyone," he said and everyone bowed.

"Good morning young people, the future of the pack," he said to us three and I tried my best to give a genuine smile and a nod.

"Happy morning uncle Priston," Amy said.

"You make my morning happy darling" he gave Amy the biggest smile. I stared at him with a feeling I don't know, maybe fondly? but then again how naive of me, he is nothing but a monster.

"Aren't we all monsters, pal?"Arthur spoke.

"I don't need your sarcasm here" I roll my eyes at him.

"I wonder where our mate is, at least she can show you all the sarcasm and wittiness, at least you may change then" he spoke and I blocked him.

How can I say to him that I am not in search of a mate, she is the last thing I bother about in my list.

They were all talking while I was eating my breakfast silently.

"Alpha" came our pack's finance operator and lawyer's voice. Richard, he is. An Indian in that. He bowed to my dad. He is the only human in our pack. I don't know why and how dad allowed him into the pack but he deals with our property and business in the human land.You might wonder why he is referring to my dad as alpha? cos he knows about werewolves' existence.

His face looks worried and sad.

"What is it Richard?" dad asked.

"My sister in India has expired and I need to pay her a visit, can I have a leave?" he asked.

"We are sorry for your loss, Richard. You can have a break. We can manage till then"dad replied.

"Thank you Alpha, I will be back in a couple of days," he said and left the place.

"Poor thing, lost his sister"mom spoke and I gave her a tight smile. Mom is sensitive to deaths. She lost her father at a very young age and then her best friend Jason, whom she named me after. Recently her mother expired as well. We are the only family she has now. She is my mother and I will do anything just to see her smiling.

"I am going to the neighbor packs, do you want to tag along?" came my dad's voice.

"Yeah, you should. There might be the possibility of finding your mate"Aunt Eva spoke.

Back to mate topic, I sigh internally. I don't want to, I need to find a suitable reason or else he won't be convinced "Sorry to say, but I will stay here and will arrange for the blue moon day" I replied.

He looked at me, as if thinking something "Yeah, you can do that. This time you are going to lead it" he said and I flashed him a smile and looked at Amy and Dany. We were waiting for Blue Moon Day for so long.

The day which is very special to our pack, our own festival.
