*Time skip to the day before school starts*

Ashi's POV:

I snooze my alarm once again. Who wakes up at 4 in the morning? Guess what ? Amy does. Ugh, I groan, as another set of alarms rang.

Amy told me that she will take me into the woods. When she mentioned this yesterday I got Lil scared, remembering the wolf's howl I have heard the day I came here. I could still listen to them once in a while. Even Jason warned me.

*Last Night conversation*

"Are you sure?" I ask her.

"I am, it's just having a jog in the woods," Amy said.

"It sounds more like, let's become breakfast to some wild animals," I say and she rolls her eyes.

"Geez, girl you can trust me. We will wake up early in the morning. Will do some exercises in the woods" she said.

"Morning, like 6 AM?" I ask.

"4" she replied and my eyes went wide like saucers.

"Who gets up at 4?" I ask.

"I do" she replied.

"Why don't you kill me instead"I whine.

"I ain't gonna listen. Trust me, you will thank me tomorrow morning. If you are so scared I will also invite Dany with us" she said.

I became silent, should I trouble him? maybe we can become a bit open, I thought. I nod and replied with "ok".

I ended the call and tried to sleep.

*Call ends*

I got up and changed into the tracks. I washed my face and something hit my window pane. I looked out to find excited Amy and Lil "not so interested in this jog" Dany.

"5 minutes" I mouthed.

I looked myself in the mirror one last time and headed downstairs silently. Uncle is still sleeping and I don't want to disturb him.

"Hey," I say.

"Good Morning babe"Amy gave me a hug. It's a little cold out here and the hug felt warmth.

Dany cleared his voice."Hi" I greet him as well and he replied to me with a nod.

We started walking while talking about some random things and Dany remained silent most of the time. We entered into deep woods and I became conscious of my surroundings as a chill ran down my spine.

It's calm but I still feel like there are some other people here. We started jogging at the same pace, we did the same for the next 30 mins and then I heard a growl. I stopped in my tracks and clutched Amy's arm.

"Did you hear it?" I ask.

"What?" she replied.

"The sound, the growl," I say bit terrified.

"Don't be stupid, you are just listening to things, maybe you are still sleepy" she said.

I roll my eyes at her and again I heard another growl. This time I am sure that even they both heard.

She laughed and hit Dany "Stop it brat," she said.

"HUH?" I and Daniel said in unison.

"It's Daniel, who mimicked the growl"She hit him playfully.

I look at him and he was eyeing Amy as if he will kill her.

"Show her?"Amy said.

Daniel growled at her and my eyes went wide with surprise. I eyed Amy with disbelief.

"See, I said right. He was just pranking on you" she chuckled.

"Yeah, right, "Dany said sarcastically.

"let's go," Dany said and walked in front of us.

"Chill," Amy said and we started exercising again.

We did our exercises and even found Mr.Priston on the way. No doubt why he looks so fit even at this age.Mrs.Blue might get jealous from time to time. The fog covered the woods, but it felt nice to be in there. feeling a little cold and listening to the sound of birds chirping, made my morning.

We went to the main house and had our breakfast. Then spent my time at Amy's place, discussing about our school. She is pretty much excited about going to school. One crazy girl, she is and I even came to know that Jason will be back today.

Maybe Daniel will come out of his crazy mood swings. They both are like sworn brothers.

*Later in the evening*

The golden hour, I am mesmerized by the beauty of this place. It's like every corner of this village has something beautiful to adore. It's 5:30 now and I am here at the lakeside. The way the sun's rays reflected on the water felt as if the lake is made of gold.

The woods, the lake, the mountains, the people here, I fell in love with every bit of this place. Jason warned me not to step into the woods, but Amy assured me that it's fine, so we have wandered in the woods today morning. I mean we both went jogging and exercised.

I had a very good day and am a little nervous about tomorrow. I hope everything goes well. Firstly, it's been a while since I stepped into school, and this time it's not even India. A whole different people, this is exciting me but making me a bit, strike it off a hell lot of nervous.

I started feeling anxious as well and then I thought of this place. Iris comes here every day. She tells me that for her everything started from here. She feels peace here. She told me that maybe I can even feel at ease near the lake.

I let out a sigh, by taking in the beauty in front of my eyes. I have to deal with it but the good thing is I am not alone. I have Amy, Dany, and Jason with me. I am looking forward to what this new journey has for me.

Jason, I think he is back by now. And I even observed that people around here respect him more. Maybe because of his influential family and their good deeds.

Jason's POV:

Finally, I am done with the training. I can go back to my pack, I can see Ashi. I missed her. Actually, this training is also to resist the mate pull. I wanted to try out being away from her. I couldn't control my brain for too long.

I started missing her badly, my body started missing her fragrance. Tomorrow is our first day of school. It's going to be a new experience. We would get a chance to live among humans and to mingle with them.

The car reached the pack borders and Arthur started jumping and howling inside. He can't wait to see Ashi. But Mom first, I remind him. It's evening and I know where exactly mom will be. Near the lake. As soon as I entered the pack lands, I turned the car to the lake.

I walked towards the lake and the peach blossom scent hit my nostrils. It felt as if my senses got awakened by the smell. I looked around and found Ashi sitting near the lake. I couldn't see mom anywhere here.

I didn't want to be found, so I tried walking back slowly but somehow she caught me. Great, I sigh.

"Jason" she squealed.

"Ashi," I say.

"It's been a while. When did you arrive? How are you? " she asked. She feels to be at ease.

"Good" I answered.

"Have a seat" she patted the ground behind her. I sat beside her. If only she has any idea, how much she is making me crazy. They say it's very hard for a male wolf to not mark her mate if only she knows. Thanks to all the alpha training, I can control my urges.

We both remained silent.

"It's school tomorrow, are you excited?" she ask.

"Not sure" I replied. "How about you?" I ask.

"Nervous, fits well"Ashi replied.

"It's okay. We will be by your side" I said.

She looked at me and gave a slight smile, which reached her eyes and I smiled looking at her.

Though I can't say to her that she is my mate, at least I can enjoy a few moments like this.

*Next day*

Jason's POV:

All the teen wolves gathered at the packhouse today and Alpha Priston has given us a few instructions.

Not to fight with humans, try to mingle with them, don't involve in their matters, be careful about our identities and never shift in front of them, and so on.

Are we kids? ugh, I thought to myself. Amy told Ashi that we will pick her up from her place.

Everyone left the packhouse and I walked to my mom to bid her bye.

"Have fun, enjoy and be careful"mom hugged me.

"I will"I kiss her cheek.

"Ahem" my dad cleared his voice.

I look at him confused. He handed me the car keys. My eyes went wide.

"Maserati?" I ask in shock and he chuckled.

"Don't drive rash" he said and I nod.

"Thank you," I say.

He wasn't a good mate but he has always been a good father but I still side with my mother.

"Jason, take care of Ashi as well," dad said.

"I will"I replied. How can I not? She is my mate and she lives in my head, rent-free.

Ashi's POV:

I have been waiting for Amy, Jason, and Dany for the past 10 mins. I heard a honk and then received a message from Amy.

"We are right outside your door. Come fast" it said.

I lock all the doors and left the place.

I hop into the car "Nice car" I say.

"Thank you" Jason smirked.

Soon we reached the school. I and Amy left the car first. We collected our schedule and I found that we share most of the classes but for the first two classes, I am alone. I and Jason have English and maths together.

Dany and Amy share the same schedule.

I and Amy bid byes, she went in search of her class and I stood at my locker.

"Have you seen him? He looks very hot. Puberty hit Shawn damn heard." some girl said.

I ignored their talks and walked to the class. The first class is biology.

I found an empty place and sat there.

Two girls started squealing out of blue, I looked at them"Omg, OMG, OMG Shawn? in our class? We gonna be in the presence of the Greek god? Let me set my makeup"one girl said.

Who is this Shawn? I thought to myself.
