CHAPTER 27

I pursed my lips to stop the sobs escaping my lips but I couldn’t stop the tears streaming out of my eyes and the blood coming out of my wounds. I laid limp beside the kitchen counter, in my own pool of blood with my hands still tied behind me.
My whole body was burning with pain and I was still shaking with the fear of what just happened here. Just thinking of that whip with spikes that they lashed on me made me shiver. My bones shivered as I remembered the feeling of those spikes dragging against my skin, leaving deep cuts.
I couldn’t believe that they did this, that they put me through this but something in me told me that it was just the starting. My wolf wept with me in grief and in pain. She was trying her best to heal me, to stop the blood flowing out of my bo
